This lightweight commercial stabilizer is designed to support the demands of next-generation vertical shooting, offering enhanced operational efficiency, superior stabilization performance, and an upgraded accessory ecosystem. The DJI RS 4 is equipped with a 2nd-Gen Native Vertical Shooting feature, which includes a newly designed horizontal plate. This innovative design allows for a seamless transition to vertical shooting, eliminating the need for additional accessories and paving the way for efficient vertical video creation. The stabilizer also boasts 2nd-Gen Automated Axis Locks, which enable the RS 4 to quickly transition between working and sleep mode. This feature significantly enhances shooting, transition, and storage efficiency while reducing gimbal shake through smaller gaps when locked. The fine-tuning knob on the tilt axis allows for precise, millimeter-level balancing when switching cameras or lenses. The DJI RS 4 also features an Automatic Screen Lock on its OLED touchscreen. This feature conserves battery power and prevents accidental touches by displaying the current gimbal and joystick modes at a low brightness once locked. With a powerful stabilization and an excellent payload capacity of 3kg (6.6lbs), the lightweight body of the DJI RS 4 can comfortably hold mainstream mirrorless camera and lens combinations. The tilt axis has been extended by 8.5 mm compared to the previous generation, offering expanded balancing space and broadening the scope for creative potential. The 4th-Gen RS Stabilization Algorithm has been comprehensively optimized for different usage scenarios, striking a superior balance between stabilization strength and the tactile feel of camera movement. This delivers excellent stabilization performance and an enhanced user experience, with significantly improved stability when shooting vertically. The DJI RS 4 supports the professional-grade features of DJI PRO products, delivering superior performance that makes solo creation more efficient. With Dual-Mode Bluetooth technology, the DJI RS 4 can remotely control camera shutter and lens zoom, providing a native zoom experience. The trigger function can be customized to FPV mode, making the gimbal's three axes follow the direction of the grip's movement, which is particularly useful for shooting rotational footage or simulating POV. The DJI RS 4 introduces an RSA communication port, which allows for the connection of accessories such as the DJI RS Tethered Control Handle and third-party accessories. Thanks to DJI RS SDK protocol, third-party manufacturers and individual developers can develop customized functions for RS 4, meeting a wider range of shooting requirements.
