Thinking Person Zombie Film
This film, though almost a prequel took the primary approach of survival and made you think upon what one would do in the situation. There were still moments of gore for the diehards, but not merely a tale of run,hide, survive.

New Story Twists / Same Old Archetypes
There were some great new story twists in this one... unfortunately, still the same extreme archetypes for most characters. There were a few better fleshed out characters, but mostly still the same old archetypes you're used to seeing in these films. Overall, fun movie though - we enjoyed it.
