About This Item

Brave, energetic and expansive, the idea of motion has always been central to the Press Club ethos. Having made music together for 12 years, the Melbourne-based punk rock four-piece reject stagnancy, constantly pushing to change and thrive in a scene that largely stays the same. Endless Motion is the ultimate artistic statement about the past three years - a collective and global struggle that has provided the material and circumstances for Press Club to emerge as one of the most exciting and relevant bands of 2022. The new album promises equal parts playful indie rock, punk grit and dreamy alt-rock, balancing the anecdotal and extrospective. Across their first two albums - the critical success of the adolescent commentary Late Teens (2018) and the frenetic freedom of Wasted Energy (2019) - Press Club proved themselves to be a thrilling new voice in the global DIY punk rock scene. The highly anticipated third album couldn't have been made in more different circumstances than their second, which was written on the road touring and recorded in a six-day window in their calendar. Fun and speed were the order of the day. Plans were in place to record Endless Motion in Berlin in 2020 but when the pandemic shut the world down it offered Press Club a chance to reconsider all their proposed material. Album Tracks 1. Eugene 2. Coward Street 3. Untitled Wildlife 4. Glasgow 5. Endless Motion 6. Cancelled 7. Lifelines 8. Afraid of Everything 9. I Can Change 10. Less These Days

Jethro Tull - Thick As a Brick - VINYL LP
    5.0(1)

Limited 180gm audiophile vinyl LP repressing of this classic rock album. Thick As A Brick was the fifth studio album by Jethro Tull, released in 1972. The album is notable for only including one song, which spans the entire album. Thick As A Brick was deliberately crafted in the style of a concept album (and as a InchbombasticInch and Inchover the topInch parody). The original packaging, designed like a newspaper, claims the album to be a musical adaptation of an epic poem by a (fictional) eight-year-old genius, though the lyrics were actually written by the band's frontman, Ian Anderson. The album was a commercial success and topped the US charts. Album Tracks 1. Thick As a Brick 22 45 1. Thick As a Brick 21 05

Deftones - Around the Fur - VINYL LP
    4.6(12)

Around the Fur the follow-up to Deftones' passionate, aggressive Adrenaline, sees the California quartet expanding on the sheer rage of their earlier work, adding new, more sinister shades to their already extreme sound. The opening InchMy Own Summer (Shove It),Inch serves as an introduction to the album's sonic theme sinewy guitars and eerie whispers alternate with fast, violent crunch. Sepultura's Max Cavallero contributes guitar and vocals to InchHeadup,Inch while InchMXInch finds singer Chino trading off vocal lines with Annalynn Cunningham, (wife of Deftones' drummer Abe) in an acerbic take on the rock star mentality. Vocal acrobat Moreno attacks a variety of styles his breathy, psychotic recitations sound downright industrial, while the album's calmer, more brooding moments show his gift for haunting melody. Behind him, guitarist Stephen Carpenter's heavy wall of sound is astoundingly muscular, yet inspiringly agile. When Deftones' hellish fury hits full tilt, as it always does on this album, Moreno's voice erupts into screams which are best described as otherworldly, transforming this intense musical firestorm into a hurtling juggernaut of aggression. This LP version comes pressed on 180 gram vinyl. Album Tracks 1. My Own Summer (Shove It) 2. Lhabia 3. Mascara 4. Around the Fur 5. Rickets 6. Be Quiet and Drive (Far Away) 7. Lotion 8. Dai the Flu 9. Headup 10. MX
