Clean, Crisp Water for a Busy Household
With four kids constantly running around in the Florida heat, our refrigerator water dispenser and pitcher work overtime. I always stick to the official Samsung filters. Installation takes less than a minute with a simple twist and lock—no leaks, no hassle, and no need to move the entire fridge. The water flow rate remains consistently strong right after installation. Most importantly, it delivers crisp, completely clear, and great-tasting water without any chemical aftertaste or cloudiness. It provides absolute peace of mind knowing the whole family is drinking properly filtered water day in and day out. Highly recommend keeping a spare in the pantry.

Only using this to replace my filter
I tried a brand from Home Depot because they were out of the Samsung. It was really hard to install and water was spilling out. I cleaned the water put the old filter back. I picked this up from Best Buy and had no issues with installation. The water tastes and smells better it definitely does the job.

Questions & Answers

Do you have to turn off the water supply at the external valve before removing the water filter for replacement?
Hi Keith! Though it is recommended to shut off the water supply prior to changing the water filter, it is not required. The water filter housing has a flap that will close when the filter is removed to prevent leaking. However, having the water supply still on may create additional pressure, making it more difficult to remove and replace the filter. ^Jecca
