About this product

For brilliant biochemist Michael Morbius (Jared Leto), it'd been his literal life's work to conquer the rare blood disorder that had left him infirm since boyhood. He'd find his breakthrough via gene splicing with bat DNA-but the controversial cure also left him with superhuman strength, speed, flight... and a craving to consume human blood. Big-screen debut for Marvel Comics' Living Vampire also stars Matt Smith, Adria Arjona, Jared Harris, Tyrese Gibson, Al Madrigal. 104 min. Widescreen; Soundtrack English. Two-disc set.

It's Morbin Time
Morbius comes to 4K UHD with an exceptional transfer. Although it's a dark film, HDR really makes the colors pop off the screen, and the blacks are very dark and inky. The detail that 4K brings out (especially in the final battle) is great. Bats flying everywhere and the smears from the vampires flying all look great. The film isn't that bad either, much better than the Venom films.

It is actually good!
Overall, not a bad film (for an origin movie). I was hoping to see more of a "indirect" connection with Spider-Man as the previews depicted before the cinematic release. I did enjoy the movie, I dont regret buying it.
