The People Under the Stairs (Collector's Edition) - 4K Blu-Ray [4K Ultra HD Blu-ray]

The movie that helped set the tone for future Inchhaunted houseInch films and became the cornerstone of Universal horror, director Paul Leni's silent masterpiece is set in a creepy mansion where the heirs of a dead millionaire await to see who will inherit his fortune... if any of them survive the night. Laura La Plante, Creighton Hale, Forrest Stanley, Tully Marshall star in this adaptation of John Willard's oft-filmed stage play. 79 min. Standard; Soundtrack music score. Silent with music score. Two-disc set.

Wes Craven's horrific and satiric tale concerns the efforts of a young boy (Brandon Quintin Adams) and two hoods (Ving Rhames, Jeremy Roberts) who attempt to ransack a mysterious house, but soon discover it's inhabited by a psychopathic (and slightly Reaganesque) man (Everett McGill) and woman (Wendy Robie)... and the InchguestsInch they keep locked up in the cellar. A.J. Langer, Sean Whalen, Bill Cobbs also star. 102 min. Widescreen; Soundtrack English; Subtitles English; audio commentary; interviews; behind-the-scenes footage; theatrical trailer. Two-disc set.
