Sound and range is good. The issue is connectivity. Because of the adapter that you have to use, you have to keep turning it back on If you wait more than a few minutes to use them. I know it's a feature to save the battery. But since it's a rechargeable unit, it should stay on longer

As a casual home karaoke enthusiast, I hadn’t really invested a lot in fancy wireless microphones. (Old set required AA batteries and a separate receiver unit and are not as portable) – These are so much better! The wireless microphones come in a set of two mics and one small receiver that is wireless and plugs right into a regular microphone jack. All use USB-C for charging. They have a good weight and heft to them, but are not heavy. They are comfortable to hold and feel like a high quality microphone and not a cheap toy. Setup is super simple – just plug in the receiver and hold down the power button for about 3 seconds and a white light will flash until it finds the microphones. The mic powers on with a 1 second touch. Both will glow a white light when paired. That’s literally it. You now have a microphone that will play through your system’s speakers. I have an speaker that is designed for karaoke, so I have the ability to adjust pitch using that machine. The mics do not have any controls on them like volume, reverb or other sound effects. No software to load or app to mess with (which is nice) - They are just straight up mics. That said they do have 1 feature called Dual Assist where they self level the singing/sound of both mics when 2 people are singing which is cool so 1 singer isn’t overpowered by the other. They have good noise canceling (breathing, “S sounds”, wind etc.) - I could see these being handy for an outdoor presentation, outdoor singer, announcer at a 5k race day, etc. According to specs they sport up to 20 hours of battery life, but also have a cool quick charge feature where if they are dead –just a 10 min charge gets you 2 hours of use . Super handy if you haven’t used them or charged them in a while and have a sudden party urge to sing. They sound great (certainly for great for an amateur karaoke singer). They also have plenty of range – I got 2 rooms and about 50’ away before they had any drop off. They also sport a silicone damper to help reduce/prevent damage if you “drop the mic”, but haven’t tested that first hand. - Likely that will happen at a future party, so that could be a great feature. These are "Winnerrrrs!" written with a singing voice :-)

So my family really enjoys Karaoke. These mics do the trick. This is great for all ages and various levels of music. Great to use for entertaining friends and family when there are gatherings. Setup was super easy. Plugged it in to charge the receiver and the 2 mics. Plugged into my Sony Ult speaker. Turned them on and was up and running... Automatic sync and connection between mic and receiver. No problems with them connecting with one another. Overall weight of mic is decent. I little heavy but not too bad. Range is good. Did it get interference with walking around and moving. Mics did not cut out. Duet mode not uses with stepping on each other. Both mics belted out just fine. Volume control was good at the speaker. Did not get reverberation. Battery is good so far. 1 charge and we are still running strong 3 days of about 1.5 hours of use each day. Clarity and sound are good. The speaker can control echo and all that. Overall appearance is nice. Black and matt finish. I would recommend this product for what it is meant for. Good job Sony.
