Q: Can the noise cancelling feature be turned off?
A: Yes, the noise-cancelling feature for the Anker Life Q20 headphones can be turned off. You can manage it by pressing the NC button on the headphones, which cycles between ANC (Active Noise Cancelling), normal, and transparency modes. You will hear a voice prompt indicating the switch between these modes. If you want to completely turn off the noise-cancelling feature, you can switch to the normal or transparency mode.
Q: Are the ear cups replaceable?
A: Yes.
Q: Is this compatible with the soundcore app
A: No, the Soundcore Life Q20 headphones are not compatible with the Soundcore app. The Soundcore app is designed for newer models in Anker's audio lineup, primarily those with Bluetooth 5.0 or later and more advanced features. The Life Q20 is an older, popular model that connects and operates fully via its physical buttons.
A: The ear cushions fit so nicely that it greatly reduces ambient noice even when off. When they're active, I really don't hear any ambient noise over the program sound, but I don't know if the noise cancelling remains operating after disconnect from bluetooth source.
A: The active noise cancelling feature on the Soundcore Life Q20 headphones does not work in the AUX-in state (when plugged in directly using a cable). If you require noise cancelling during usage on an airplane or in other scenarios, you would need to use the headphones in Bluetooth mode where the ANC feature is active.
