A: It has a small compartment for the cord and another for the batteries. C batteries aren’t as big as your mind thinks (I was thinking D size in my head) C is quite smaller. We have a special needs adult who can’t sleep without a radio so we bought this in the event on power outage and have tested it out. It works just as well as his alarm clock radio(thankfully. The tuner is great. Delicate enough to grab the “in between” stations a digital would pass right by. You can fine tune it. I consider it a great buy for what we need.

A: VERY, very pleased with sound quality! Purchased Nov. 2018; never turn it off! Had previously purchased a small, inexpensive one and it was so bad that I returned it within a week. That's when I ordered the Jensen online and it was EXACTLY what I wanted!
