      I purchased the geek squad warranty for 4 years and it is a international warranty. they will fix or replace the product no questions ask.

      So a few months ago I purchased an Epson home cinema component and asked for the Geek Squad protection plan. The sales person didn’t offer or explain that they had changed their Geek Squad plans and at the time had two different ones. He sold me the “basic” and when I needed to use it Best Buy gave me the run around and didn’t take care of the issue. I should not have thrown money away on a protection plan that only mimics what Epson gives automatically with the purchase of their product.
