2019 brought out a few good sequels and this one 47 meters down uncaged is one . Summer time was fun for 4 girls until the found a unground cave with great whites that are hungry will anyone u even survive ?
Johannes Roberts (acclaimed director behind the 1st 47 Meters Down and The Strangers: Prey At Night) returns to thrill viewers with another romp under the waves. This time dealing with a group of unfortunate cave divers who come across a highly evolved species of Great Whites who now call the cavernous tunnels their own. Trapped with a limited supply of oxygen, and their only way out now blocked, the girls have no choice but to venture further into the domain of the evolved killers. With nail biting suspense, amazing set design and an incredible soundtrack, this one delivers on everything shark movie fans are looking for. Highly recommended!!!
Bonus points for introducing me to the amazing 80's song "Somewhere in my heart" by Aztec Camera. I was singing that song for days after seeing this one in the theatre.
If it wasn't for Jaws, this would have been the movie that would give me nightmares about sharks. The story is a little bizarre in that Great White sharks find there way into some ruins, go blind due to the lack of light and then hunt the movie's characters, but it oddly works. The quick edits of the sharks hunting their prey are well done and you are always guessing if the cast will get out alive. The ending was a little silly, but overall this was well done and suspenseful.
This movie held my attention pretty well and had loads of suspenseful parts throughout the movie!! Pretty solid storyline with a good group of actors. The ending is very surprising in my opinion. I doubt it’ll disappoint you if you’re into movies like JAWS or any shark movie for that matter.
I don’t make it a habit to buy movies I haven’t watched prior but was in the mood for something new.
This movie was better than I thought it woukd and entertained me well! Even got the right amount of jump-scares I love : )
Hmmm ok if you saw the first movie of 47 meters down. Then this is when they were uncaged.... Next one I wonder if they will be recaged.... after the first one they could have changed 47 meters down to 48 meters or more...
