Six years and five albums after their debut, Van Halen had become one of the biggest bands in world around the of 1984, which includes a number of the band’s most legendary songs such as the #1 hit, InchJumpInch, InchPanamaInch and InchHot For TeacherInch. Mastering engineer Chris Bellman, who remastered the original albums at Bernie Grundman Mastering Studios, was enlisted for this new version. In order to produce the original sound the band intended, Bellman cut straight from the quarter-inch tapes.

Fantastic Reissue!
In recent years I've found album reissues/remasters to be hit or miss. This one is an absolute hit! The artwork is exactly like the original with upside down back side artwork and cardboard inner sleeve. This reissue sounds fantastic!

Plays Beautifully!
Great Album. Played flawlessly. SOUNDS AMAZING! Everything from "Jump" to "Panama" to "Hot for Teacher" to my favorite, "I'll Wait" (which was co-written by Michael McDonald) flow from my speakers with the full deep rich sound of analog glory! You cannot go wrong with this album!!
