About This Item

Limited 180gm vinyl LP pressing. A Collection of Great Dance Songs is a compilation album by Pink Floyd, released on 23 November 1981 by Harvest Records. The title is facetious, given that Pink Floyd are not known for making particularly danceable music. This is perhaps evidenced by the album art, which featured a photograph of ballroom dancers anchored to the ground so they cannot move. The album contains alternative mixes of InchShine On You Crazy DiamondInch (which comprises parts 1, 2, 4 and 7) edited down for time reasons, and InchAnother Brick in the Wall (Part 2)Inch (which combines the intro from the single mix with the album version). Also, the track InchMoneyInch was re-recorded as Capitol Records refused to license the track to Columbia/CBS Records. David Gilmour re-recorded the track himself, guitars, keyboards, bass guitar and vocals and co-producing the song with James Guthrie. Dick Parry reprised his saxophone role on the track. There are some differences between the re-recorded version and the original; mainly in the saxophone and guitar solos and the overall use of reverb. The drumming is noticeably different from Nick Mason's, especially during the guitar solo, with very little of the tom-tom fills heard on the original. Album Tracks 1. One of These Days - 5 14 2. Money (1981 Re-Recording) - 6 46 3. Sheep - 9 46 1. Shine on You Crazy Diamond (PTS. 1-4); Pt. 1\ Pt. 2\ Pt. 3\ Pt. 4 - 10 41 2. Wish You Were Here - 5 30 3. Another Brick in the Wall, Pt. 2 - 3 58

U2 - Achtung Baby - VINYL LP
4.8(14)

Double 180gm vinyl LP pressing. Achtung Baby is the seventh studio album by Irish rockers U2. It was produced by Daniel Lanois and Brian Eno, and was released on 18 November 1991 on Island Records. U2 shifted their musical direction to incorporate influences from alternative rock, industrial music, and electronic dance music into their sound. Thematically, Achtung Baby is darker, more introspective, and at times more flippant than their previous work. The album and the subsequent multimedia-intensive Zoo TV Tour were central to the group's 1990s reinvention, by which they abandoned their earnest public image for a more lighthearted and self-deprecating one. Album Tracks 1. Zoo Station 2. Even Better Than the Real Thing 3. One 1. Until the End of the World 2. Who's Gonna Ride Your Wild Horses 3. So Cruel 1. The Fly 2. Mysterious Ways 3. Tryin' to Throw Your Arms Around the World 1. Ultra Violet (Light My Way) 2. Acrobat 3. Love Is Blindness

Limited white colored vinyl LP pressing. The third studio album by the American rock band, originally released in June 2008. The album's lyrics explore diverse subject matter as opposed to their previous albums; 'Devour' ventures into political territory while 'What a Shame' tells a story about lead singer Brent Smith's uncle, who died during the recording of the album, and how Brent and his cousin, professional wrestler Olivia Smith, dealt with his death. Features the singles 'Devour', 'Second Chance', 'Sound of Madness', 'If You Only Knew' and 'The Crow and the Butterfly'.

Michael Jackson - Off The Wall - VINYL LP

Limited vinyl LP repressing in gatefold jacket. Off the Wall is the fifth solo studio album by Michael Jackson. It was released on August 10, 1979, following Jackson's critically well-received film performance in The Wiz. Recording sessions took place between December 1978 and June 1979 at Allen Zentz Recording, Westlake Recording Studios, and Cherokee Studios in Los Angeles, California. Jackson collaborated with a number of other writers and performers such as Paul McCartney, Stevie Wonder and Rod Temperton. Five singles were released from the album. It was his first solo under Epic Records, the tag he would record on until his death roughly 30 years later. Album Tracks 1. Don't Stop 'Til You Get Enough 2. Rock with You 3. Workin' Day and Night 4. Get on the Floor 1. Off the Wall 2. Girlfriend 3. She's Out of My Life 4. I Can't Help It 5. It's the Falling in Love 6. Burn This Disco Out
