U2s second best endevor second in a trilogy
This is u2 s second best album after the joshua tree. While many of the tracks where prepared for other albums, some dating 10 years ago or longer,One track was not included from this album but included on the cd.Songs of innocence the last album was first in a trilogy, the second and current album songs of experience relate to bonos current experiences related to growing up in dublin. Part 3 of the next abum which will be released in late 2022 will include some of there finest moments done more in a acoustic manner, this will be the final chapter, titled songs of acsent.Although there where no major hits the creativity of this band is endless and they certainly push boundries with every new project they work on.

Don’t skip this one.
I really enjoyed this album. There is a strong sense of maturity tied to it. The band is giving you a different style of writing while reminding you who they are.

The Wallflowers - Exit Wounds - VINYL LP

Vinyl LP pressing. 2021 . Rock 'n' roll is often hard to define, or even to find, in these fractured musical times. But to paraphrase an old saying, you know it when you hear it. And you always hear it with The Wallflowers. For the past 30 years, the Jakob Dylan-led act has stood as one of rock's most dynamic and purposeful bands - a unit dedicated to and continually honing a sound that meshes timeless songwriting and storytelling with a hard-hitting and decidedly modern musical attack. But while it's been nine long years since we've heard from the group with whom he first made his mark, The Wallflowers are silent no more. And Dylan always knew they'd return. InchThe Wallflowers is much of my life's work,Inch he says simply. That life's work continues with Exit Wounds.

SONGS OF INNOCENCE is U2's most personal work to date, charting the band's earliest influences from 70s rock and punk rock to early 80s electronica and ambient music and giving insight into how and why the band came together. The album deals with themes of home and family, relationships and discovery and was recorded in Dublin, London, New York and Los Angeles and is produced by Danger Mouse, along with Paul Epworth, Ryan Tedder, Declan Gaffney and Flood.
