A: I was wondering the same thing as mine also get really hot. I plugged it in to my laptop for about 5 mins and it got to the point where I almost couldn’t hold it.

A: Yep, mine gets really hot. Not sure why but it doesn't seem to be "unsafe." Just seems to be inefficient.
