Double vinyl LP pressing of this newly-remastered 1996 album. Sublime is the eponymous third and final studio album by the ska punk band. The album was produced by Paul Leary and David Kahne. Sublime formed in 1988 in Long Beach, California by vocalist/guitarist Bradley Nowell, bassist Eric Wilson, and drummer Bud Gaugh. By the time it came to record this major tag debut, Nowell had been struggling with a heroin addiction. Sublime was recorded over a period of three months in Austin, Texas. The album's musical style contains elements of punk rock, reggae, and ska, as well as dancehall, hip hop, and dub music, with tempos ranging wildly. Vinyl LP pressing. Digitally remastered mono edition. Strange Days (50th Anniversary Deluxe Edition) was produced by the album's original engineer Bruce Botnick. It features the album's original mono mix, which has been remastered for this set and has been out of print for years. Strange Days is the second studio album by The Doors. Released in September 1967, it was a commercial success, reaching #3 on the Billboard 200 album chart and eventually earning a RIAA platinum certification. The album also yielded the Top 30 hit singles InchPeople Are StrangeInch and InchLove Me Two TimesInch. Strange Days was recorded during tour breaks between May and August 1967 at Sunset Sound Recorders in Hollywood (the same studio as their first LP). In contrast to the 1966 sessions, producer Paul A. Rothchild and engineer Bruce Botnick employed a cutting-edge 8-track recording machine. The protracted sessions allowed the band to experiment in the studio and further augment their otherworldly sound with unusual instrumentation and sonic manipulation; developed with the assistance of Paul Beaver, the title track constitutes one of the earliest uses of a Moog synthesizer in rock. Greatest Hits is a compilation album by Social Distortion. It was released on June 26, 2007. It includes hit singles from Mommy's Little Monster to S*x, Love and Rock 'n' Roll - as well as the unreleased track InchFar BehindInch, which also became a hit single - yet lacks anything from Mainliner, which is actually a compilation of unreleased early material. InchFar BehindInch is also the band's first new song recorded with then-current line-up of Mike Ness (vocals, guitars), Jonny Inch2 BagsInch Wickersham (guitar), Brent Harding (bass guitar) and Charlie Quintana (drums). The limited edition vinyl for this album contains an interview with Mike Ness. A bonus track, a studio recording of a new Social Distortion cover version of the Chuck Berry classic InchMaybelleneInch, is available through the iTunes music store in the US.
