I absolutely love this printer! It has been a total game changer for me. It’s quiet, fast, simple to use and just so much more practical than the big expensive laser printers I remember from years ago. I honestly can’t believe how affordable laser printers have become. I remember when getting a good laser printer meant spending a small fortune, especially compared to what this Brother cost me. For what I actually need at home, black-and-white printing, scanning and copying, this makes so much more sense. The print quality is crisp and clean, it doesn’t make a racket every time I use it, and I love not having to constantly worry about ink cartridges drying out. It’s wireless too, which makes printing from my devices incredibly convenient. I can also scan documents in color and save them as PDFs, which is incredibly useful. It just does what I need it to do without making something simple complicated. For the price, I’m genuinely impressed. I wish I had switched to a Brother laser printer sooner. Definitely recommend!

I bought this printer to replace and upgrade my previous Brother printer. Specifically bought this model because it has a scanner. Love that feature, so easy to use. I love the ability to remote print as well. It’s fits in a tight spot in my office as well. Perfect size for where I wanted to put it. Recommend 100%

Set-up is very easy; just take it out of the box, place the cartridge, connect it, turn it on and download the app. From the app you can establish the wifi connection. In less than 5 minutes, after firmware updates, it was ready to go. This is my first laser printer and I can say that I’ve been impressed with its performance so far. This printer boasts up to 34 pages per minute printing, which is significantly faster than all the inkjet printers I’ve ever owned. I was able to print out multi-page documents in seconds. This was a real time saver for me. Setting up the printer on my Wi-Fi network was a breeze, and printing from my laptop or phone was seamless and I haven't experienced any dropped connections or printing delays. It’s compatible with WiFi direct, Google Print and AirPrint. What impressed me the most was the laser technology that delivers sharp, crisp professional-looking prints and clear black and white graphics and even high-resolution photos which make this printer perfect for business documents and reports. The printer also includes scanning and copying functions in addition to printing, making it a versatile tool for everyday tasks. The scanner worked well for digitizing documents and photos, and the copies were of great quality. I also liked the intuitive color touchscreen that makes it easy to navigate menus, adjust settings, and even preview documents before printing. There’s an eco option that automatically saves paper and time by printing on both sides of the page. I tried it with a 20-page document and it did it quite fast. And speaking of printing, the included toner cartridge lasts for thousands of pages, reducing the need for frequent replacements. All this and it is surprisingly small for its capabilities, making it a good fit for cramped desks or home offices. It also looks sleek and modern, which is a plus. About the drawbacks, this printer is monochrome and while the print quality for black and white is superb, it is not ideal for those who need color printing. And for an office environment, the absence of an automatic document feeder can be a bit time-consuming for larger projects, requiring manually feeding each page when scanning or copying multi-page documents. Also, the basic scanner and copier functionalities are adequate for everyday tasks but might not be sufficient for advanced users. Lastly, while the initial toner cartridge lasts a long time, replacement cartridges can be expensive. If you use a high volume of paper consistently, it's worth factoring in the ongoing cost of toner before purchasing this printer. In my opinion, the Brother HL-L2480DW is a good choice for people who need a fast, reliable, and affordable black and white laser printer for home or small office use. While it has a few limitations, I believe that its strengths outweigh its weaknesses. The high-speed printing, excellent quality, and convenient 3-in-1 functionality make it a great value for the price.

I've only had this printer for a few weeks, but it well printing very different sizes of paper and semitic languages. Certainly a good buy for the price.
