McFarlane Toys - DC Multiverse Starman (Jack Knight) 7.1" Action Figure
About this product
Jack Knight came from a dynasty of Super Heroes. His father was World War II Super Hero Starman, and he was also related to the first Phantom Lady. However, he was content to let older brother David wield the Cosmic Rod as champion of Opal City. Jack preferred to pursue his love of history and popular culture. That all changed after David was assassinated. Jack Knight became Starman only after David’s murder was followed by an attempt on his own life. Using a prototype staff his father had discarded, Jack vanquished the killers and became the city’s protector. Despite reservations, he was drawn to the life of adventure and exploration, although he refused to wear a costume.

Driven insane by exposure to Doctor Dedalus’ Spyral labyrinth, Lazlo Valentin became pig-mask-wearing Professor Pyg. Pyg’s exploits consisted of kidnapping unfortunate Gotham City citizens and performing bizarre surgeries on them before adding doll-face masks that turned them into obedient minions called Dollotrons. A driven free spirit, Pyg frequently opens new “clinics.” His latest foes have included the Teen Titans, Red Hood and the Outlaws, Nightwing, and Batman.
Batman has long fought his war on crime within the dark and twisted confines of Gotham City. But when he looks beyond the bridges, alleys, and skyscrapers, the Dark Knight realizes that the call for justice knows no borders, and there are wrongs to be righted everywhere. When Bruce Wayne's travels take him around the globe, Batman is there to stop any wrongdoings that may arise. No matter where in the world he is, he is always Batman!
Poison Ivy is more than a simple Super-Villain. She's a complex creature, often appearing more plant than human. While her objective of saving the planet from mankind's pollutants and deforestation is a noble one, the means by which she works towards that goal are borderline insane, making her another formidable figure in Batman's Rogues Gallery.
