The Anker Soundcore Space 2 has quietly become my daily driver headphones. These over the ear, wireless, noise cancelling headphones are built around two important things: big battery life, and all-day comfort, and they do it well. I wasn't expecting this much from these headphones but they exceeded my expectations and I'll tell you why. - Unboxing - Opening the box is pretty straightforward. You get the headphones folded flat, a soft cloth travel pouch, a USB-C charging cable, and a 3.5mm audio cable for wired listening. The pouch is great for tossing them into a backpack, it's durable, but will mainly help you avoid dust and other light spills if it's bouncing around in a travel bag or backpack. There's a quick start guide and additional documentation, as well as a QR code that leads you to the app and an online manual. - Design & Build - My pair came in black and the body is mostly plastic with a metal frame underneath. They feel durable and there's no creaking or cheap feel to the build. The cups swivel flat and fold inward so they fit in the bag easily and travel well. The controls are all physical buttons. The left side holds the USB-C port and the 3.5mm jack. The right side handles play/pause, track skipping, calls, and whatever you assign to it. There's no water or dust resistance rating, so be aware when you're out in the elements. There's a wear-detection sensor inside the left cup, make sure you remove the protective film. The biggest surprise to me is the comfort. The earcups and the headband have a plush soft leather feel to them. These are up there with the most comfortable headphones I've ever worn. The headband and ear cushions are wrapped in memory foam with a soft leather finish and the cups are big enough that my ears sat completely inside without hitting the inside walls. There is a ton of interior space even with my large head. They're so light, it keeps any pressure off the top of your head for long stretches. - Specs & Features - These headphones are light, weighing in at about 265 grams. The Drivers are 40mm double-layer diaphragm. Noise Canceling is ANC 3.0, 4 stage low frequency system with enhanced sensors, an upgraded processor, and an optimized acoustic chamber. There are 3 modes of ANC: Noise Cancellation, Normal, and Transparency. Bluetooth is 6.1 with dual device connection (Great for PC & Phone simultaneously. Codecs are SBC, AAC, and LDAC. It delivers Hi-Res Audio and it's Hi-Res Audio Wireless certified. The Battery life is up to 50 hours with ANC on and 70 hours with ANC off, impressive! A quick 5 minute charge gives you 4 hours of playback. Charging is USB-C. There is a 3.5mm AUX jack and a 3-mic array with AI noise reduction. - Software/App - The Space 2 Soundcore app is something you need to setup properly to get the most out of your headphones. First of all, there's a comprehensive guide that includes any troubleshooting you might need. The home screen gives you access to the listening modes and sound customization. There's a big stack of EQ presets plus a full custom equalizer. HearID runs a quick hearing test and then a preference test that builds a personal profile. I've seen this before with a couple of other headsets and it can turn the sound from flat to something your ears can enjoy. There's a 3d sound setting that will increase depth. You can setup all of your buttons as you see fit. Don't miss the multi-function button customization. Mine defaulted to Siri for the iPhone app, but there's also an Nap Mode, that plays looping ambient and white-noise tracks with noise cancelling on, along with a handful of other built-in sounds you can cycle through with the volume buttons once it's running. There's also Anka Voice Assistant, and AI translation. AI translation is convenient, it will detect the language spoken and translate it to your screen in the app. - Performance - Noise cancelling is excellent. Soundcore builds this around a 4 stage low frequency system, called adaptive ANC 3.0. It goes after low frequency the hardest so the AC unit, road noise, or where I work we have heavy machinery in adjacent rooms outside of the office. The seal on the cups does the initial work and then the active noise cancellation kicks in. Sound quality starts out a little flat, but there are so many preset sound profiles to choose from to dial in the sound. You can customize the equalizer as well, but I settled on the Rock preset. I would also recommend using the HearID on the app to build the profile specifically for your ears. Spend 10 minutes setting up your sound and you will be happier with your music. Battery is a strong point for these headphones. They're rated up to 70 hours and even with heavy use I got about a week off my first charge. If you need to finish up a podcast or listening to an album, you can charge for 5 minutes and you've got 4 more hours. Calls are clear. People heard me clearly indoors and even outside with wind and road noise. Right out of the box, the Soundcore Anker Space 2 wireless Bluetooth noise cancelling over‑ear headphones strike a great first impression with a simple yet elegant design that looks more premium than their price would suggest. Despite the large ear cups and solid build, they are surprisingly lightweight, which immediately makes them feel more comfortable than some bigger name brand options I have tried in the past. The comfort only gets better once you put them on. The memory foam style padding on both the headband and ear cups is very soft, and the over‑ear design fully surrounds the ears without creating hot spots or pressure points. The ear cups feel plush and supportive, and after wearing them for extended sessions, they actually feel better than a few of the more expensive big brand headphones I own, which was a pleasant surprise. Out of the box, the headphones will work just fine by simply pairing them over Bluetooth and hitting play, but to really unlock what they can do, the Soundcore app is a must. The app feels very AI‑driven, like a lot of tech these days, and that brings with it a huge list of features and fine‑tuning options. I will admit I was a little bummed that I had to download the app and then sit through a firmware update before I could really dial in the sound and features the way I wanted, but once that process was done, the level of control made the short wait worthwhile. Within the app, there are more options than most people will probably ever need, but for a tech enthusiast, it is a lot of fun to explore. You get access to detailed EQ settings to sculpt the sound exactly to your preference, AI chat features, voice prompts, wear detection that pauses audio when you remove the headphones, and multiple levels and modes of noise cancellation and transparency. The active noise cancelling performance in particular is phenomenal, doing an excellent job of cutting out household noise, TV sounds, and even a fair amount of outside traffic so you can focus on your music or movie. In terms of sound quality, these headphones easily hold their own. The volume gets pretty high while staying clear and crisp, and even at louder listening levels there is no noticeable distortion. Highs, mids, and lows are all very good, giving music and movies a rich, full sound without muddying vocals or overpowering bass. Whether watching action movies, listening to podcasts, or streaming music, the audio experience has been consistently enjoyable. Battery life is another standout area. The listed battery specs are impressive on paper, and so far real‑world performance has matched those expectations. I have worn these in bed watching movies over Bluetooth connected to the TV so I do not disturb my wife and have actually fallen asleep with them on more than once. That alone says a lot about both the comfort and the battery life, since they still had plenty of charge left the next day. The noise cancelling helped tune out her snoring as well, which was an unexpected bonus. Overall, the Soundcore Anker Space 2 headphones deliver a very compelling package. Between the lightweight yet premium feel, extremely comfortable memory foam padding, excellent noise cancelling, customizable sound through the app, and long‑lasting battery, they are easy to recommend. Even though needing the app and waiting on the firmware update was a small initial annoyance, once everything was updated and configured, these headphones proved to be well worth the investment.

I’ve been using the Anker Soundcore Space 2 Wireless Bluetooth Headphones for a couple of weeks now, and honestly, they’ve surprised me in all the right ways. For the price, these headphones deliver way more than I expected. Sound Quality: Out of the box, the sound was decent but a little off—almost like the tuning wasn’t quite balanced. Once I jumped into the Soundcore app and tweaked the EQ, the sound quality improved vastly. The bass hits nicely without being muddy; vocals are clear, and the overall sound feels richer and more controlled. If you’re willing to adjust the EQ, these can sound genuinely impressive. Noise Cancellation: The ANC is shockingly good for this price range. It cuts out low‑frequency noise, really well, perfect for commuting or working in a noisy environment. Voices still come through a bit, but overall, the noise reduction is strong enough that I can stay focused without blasting the volume. Battery Life: This is where the Anker Space 2 Headphones really shine. I’m easily getting 40–50 hours with ANC on, and even more with it off. I’ve gone for days without charging them. For travel or long work sessions, this is a huge win. Comfort: The earcups are soft and the headband feels light, so wearing them for hours isn’t a problem. The only downside is that they can get a little warm after extended use. Not a dealbreaker, but something to keep in mind. Features & Connectivity: Multipoint works smoothly—I can switch between my laptop and phone without any fuss. LDAC support is a nice bonus if you want higher‑quality audio. The wear‑detection auto‑pause is also surprisingly reliable. What could be better: The default sound profile isn’t great (but fixable with EQ). They can get warm during long sessions. The 3D audio mode feels gimmicky. No water resistance, so not ideal for workouts. Bonus Features: Within the Soundcore App, there are a ton of listening modes, Soundscapes, Sleep Stories and even a Tinnitus Study for users that have hearing issues! Final Thoughts: If you want great ANC, huge battery life, and tons of features without spending $300+, the Soundcore Space 2 is absolutely worth it. They’re not perfect, but for the price, they deliver outstanding value. I’d recommend them to anyone who needs reliable everyday headphones for work, travel, or casual listening.

About a year and a half ago, I bought the original Soundcore Space 1 headphones for my daughter. I wanted her to get her first decent pair of headphones that wouldn't break the bank, especially considering the abuse they'd probably endure. Soundcore fit the bill, and I'm happy to say that she is still using them to this day. They've been tossed around, sat on, dropped, easily seen hundreds (if not thousands) of hours of use, and still work just as they did on day 1. This review however is on the new Soundcore Space 2 Headphones. I got the chance to get these and figured they'd be good to have on hand as a replacement set for the Space 1 that my daughter is using. It would also give me a chance to see how the Soundcores perform, as I've honestly not once tried out my daughter's Space 1s. First thing I looked at after unboxing the Space 2 is how they compared physically to the Space 1. Overall, they're extremely similar. The biggest difference is the design of the ear cups. The Space 2 has more of a solid one-piece cup whereas the Space 1 is more of a two-piece design where the outer cup is smaller and the inner cup can swivel. While I do like the original Space 1 design better, I'm pretty sure this change was to allow for the various improvements Soundcore made in functionality. If you're also coming from the Space 1 and like how they perform, then you'll love the Space 2. Everything works mostly the same but you're getting improved battery life, improved sound quality and improved noise cancellation. The noise cancellation itself is top-notch. With no other sound playing through the headphones, it removes most droning sounds and quiets everything down. Start playing some music and the world around you disappears. It's easily just as good if not better than the noise cancellation in my other premium headphones I have, which cost 3 times as much. This was all confirmed when I had my daughter use these Space 2 headphones for a couple days. At one point my wife was screaming out our daughter's name trying to get her attention and looked at me and said, "it's those **** new headphones!". It was quite noticeable how much better these Space 2s were drowning out exterior sounds. The sound quality itself is well balanced with excellent clarity. If you need to adjust any sound settings you can do so with the Soundcore app, but I found the defaults to be more than good enough. I've been using these not just for listening to music, but also while editing videos where I need to more clearly hear speech, and they've done the job for both. Another thing I really like about these, and why I've been mostly using these over my other headphones, is that I can use them both wired and wirelessly. When I just want to listen to music, I tend to also be moving around and prefer to go wireless. When I'm editing videos though, I prefer being wired as this assures me that the audio is as perfectly synced with the video as possible, which I need for some of the more precise cuts I tend to have to make. As for the wireless connection, the bluetooth works flawlessly. Pairing and connecting was as easy as it gets and didn't give any issues whatsoever and kept a consistent connection. Last thing to really talk about is comfort. Since these will need to endure marathon sessions at times, it's important that they don't leave you wanting to throw them off after a couple hours. Fortunately, these don't have that problem. In fact, as I'm typing this review out, I've been wearing them for almost 6 hours. All that said, I do think this is where the more budget friendly cost makes itself known. I've had and worn other headphones that were definitely a lot lighter feeling and comfortable, but again, those came at a much higher cost, and these are still more than adequate. Overall, these really do outperform anything else you can get at a budget, and hit way above their belt, competing with only the best. So if you're looking for something affordable but don't want to sacrifice the things that matter most with headphones, you really can't beat these. For now, my daughter will keep using her old Space 1s that still work great, and I'll be using these Space 2s as my primary working headset, especially when I'm working remotely.

I have several models of Soundcore headphones including earbuds and over the ear headphones. The output of these Space 2 headphones is excellent. I have the Sony 1000MX6 and the Bose Ultra headphones and these easily compete with those when it comes to sound. The ANC is not as good as the Sony or Bose but for headphones listing for 129 dollars the ANC is still very good. Having several high end models of headphones, I feel that these compete with those models and would have purchased these instead knowing what I know now. As I stated, the sound is excellent when listening to music. I have not used them to answer calls so I cannot speak for call sound quality. I listen primarily to classic rock and some hard rock and I can tell you that the bass has a nice thump and feel that it is better than the Sony's and the treble's are crisp as well which is hard to accomplish. Seems like headphones typically either have really good highs or lows and not both. The Space 2 headphones have a really good balance of both but you can adjust the levels with the app. I have not tested battery life but my other Soundcore headphones exceed the stated battery life so I have no reason to believe that the Space 2 headphones will not meet or exceed the stated battery life before having to charge, The headphones are very comfortable and they seem to be very sturdy. The controls are easy to use and the application which I installed on an Android phone was very useful and allowed me to fine tune the settings although I found the sound out of the box to be very good, I did not feel a need to adjust the bass or treble. The other thing that I really like about the headphones is the option to listen to the built in soothing sounds such as the rainstorm, blizzard or babbling brook. I found the rain to be very relaxing and of course you can adjust the volume to a level that is right for you. This is a nice feature that none of my other headphones offer. I also like the fact that they have physical buttons on the ear cups to adjust ANC and volume levels, etc. Not a fan of the haptic touch adjustments on the Bose Quietcomfort Ultra headphones. The stems that connect to the ear cups are metal and add to the sturdiness of the headphones. Not sure how long the cushions on the ear cups will last but they seem to be made of good quality materials. There were no issues with the volume ability of the headphones. I like to listen to Rock at increased levels and had no issues getting to that volume level and still had about 20% more volume available. I did have a couple of instances where the sound cut out for a note or two while listening but was not enough of an issue to reduce my rating. It only happened once on a couple of songs that I listened to. My internet cuts out at times so it might have just been my wireless connection to the internet. I understand that the headphones did not come with a hard case based on the cost but did come with a travel pouch to store them in. A hard case is available on Soundcore's web site for I believe about 40 dollars so that is a nice option. I highly recommend these headphones and would immediately replace them if something were to happen to them. Hope this review helps.
