Discover a deeper connection with the Descent Mk3i watch-style dive computer. It features multiple dive modes plus SubWave sonar technology for diver-to-diver communication via preset messages (available with software v.15.70 or later). The device also supports monitoring of tank pressures and depth for up to eight networked divers, when paired with the Descent T2 transceiver (sold separately). A built-in LED flashlight keeps you going in low-light conditions, above or below water. Purpose-built specifically for divers, the Descent Mk3i dive computer combines a bright 1.4” AMOLED display with scratch-resistant sapphire lens, 200-meter dive-rated case and metal leakproof inductive buttons. DiveView maps offer bathymetric depth contours and more than 4,000 dive sites to help you find where to dive and get oriented. Plus, a dive readiness tool, developed by Garmin, shows how lifestyle factors such as sleep, exercise, stress and jet lag can affect your body’s overall preparedness for diving — so, ultimately, you can make better-informed dive plan decisions (data presented is intended to be a close estimation of metrics tracked). This dive computer is designed to help maximize your preparation for the physical and mental challenges of diving. When you’re ashore, built-in sports apps help you stay on top of your fitness, while Garmin Pay contactless payments, music storage and smart notifications keep you connected (compatible smartphone required).

  • Dive-focused design: With its bright 1.4” AMOLED color display, sapphire lens, 200-meter dive-rated case and leakproof metal inductive buttons, this watch is built to go deep.
  • Air integration: Pair with our Descent T2 transceivers (sold separately) for integrated pressure monitoring on up to 8 tanks via the SubWave sonar data network.
  • Subwave sonar networking: Exchange preset diver-to-diver messages up to 30 meters as well as monitor tank pressures and depth for up to 8 divers within a range of 10 meters.
  • Dive modes: Get multiple dive modes for single and multiple gas dives (including nitrox and trimix), gauge, apnea, apnea hunt and closed-circuit rebreather.
  • Dive readiness tool: This Garmin first technology shows how lifestyle factors such as sleep, exercise, stress and jet lag can affect your body — to help gauge when you are best prepared to dive.
  • Diveview Maps: Color maps on your wrist offer bathymetric depth contours and more than 4,000 dive sites to help you discover new places to dive and get oriented.
  • Built-in LED flashlight: See and be seen with variable light intensities and strobe modes, in or out of the water.
  • Long battery life: Stay in the water longer with up to 66 hours in dive mode plus up to 25 days in smartwatch mode.
  • Lume Mode: To aid readability and help maintain night vision, an ambient light sensor gives a green luminescence to your watch face in low-light conditions.
  • Post-dive activity guidance: Physical fitness is important for divers, but exercising shortly after a dive can increase the risk of decompression sickness. Post-dive activity guidance alerts you when it may be a good idea to postpone your training due to a recent dive.

    MK3hiiiiii

This thing is freaking huge, but it is all battery life. lol. Example would be, I didn’t charge my watch but twice in the last 30 days, and my spouse has the 43mm version, MK3i too, and charge theirs once a week. What a noob. The watch itself, in regards to design and functionality…Garmin needs to try a little harder. I get not being a smartwatch and all, but it is basically my 6th grade Casio, but I can be down in 125 feet with it. So, that would be a cool thing to do, change the Casio from degrees to radian mode at 125 feet underwater. They say dreams don’t come true. Haha. But, anyway, this is a pretty freaking sweet watch! But, I still use my Perdix 2 as my main, sorry Garmin, you’re cute and all, but if I cannot do a constant connection with my phone, standing next to it, I can’t trust the air numbers, and I’ll have to use my manual, backup, Stone Age Pressure Gauge, in the pitch black, with the alligator gar lurking around. Haha. So, yes, 5 stars for awesome, 2 stars if it was the 43mm, and it’s mostly for battery life, and the people who sold it to me. They’re cool too!
