Pokémon - Trading Card Game: First Partner Illustration Collection Series 3

Opening these with my two sons made this one of those purchases that was about more than just the cards. We had a blast opening the packs together, and we got incredibly lucky! We pulled an Illustration Rare Fromantis, and then hit the Gen 3 starters from the promo pack. Watching my boys get excited as we opened each pack was easily my favorite part. The cards were a huge hit with both of them, and honestly, it was just a really fun experience getting to share something I enjoyed growing up with my kids. Definitely a purchase we’ll remember and now they’re already asking when we can open more! If only it were that simple to get another set of packs.

Best buy good prices, fair dispensary protocol (1 each). I actually appreciate them taking such a equitable stance while almost every other company is comfortable leveraging excitement for a card game to double profits. Maybe they are just living up to their name and it truly is the "Best Buy." As I am typing this, I am realizing this sounds like the corniest thing ever, look what you did to me best buy. I ripped this money opened and got mid cards like 95% of everyone else. I struggle with impulse control and do not keep them sealed. Keeping them sealed sounds very boring to me and you can get a better ROI on so many other investments. Live your life and open the packs and stop hoarding them for resell people, I am embarrassed for you.

Personally I really like the first partner exclusive boxes. I dislike the amount of cards in the actual exclusive pack is only 3, but it's 3 IR cards that all look great in my opinion. Great to use as display cards for your favorite region or overall collection sets.

We got lucky and she got her Mudkip. Not only that but she also pulled two of the cards that she needed for her master set.
