    Great game! Really wished it focused on Marcus tho

    I really like this game, it’s fun to play and I’m glad I got it as part of the bundle with an Xbox and controller as I was looking at getting this game anyway. With the digital program with this, now I don’t need the disc. I’m happy with it except that I really wish the game focus more on Dom and Marcus rather than the other characters. But it’s OK, it looks great on my PC and props I get to now play it in my bedroom too.

    Excellent Xbox Console Exclusive

    I pre-ordered it. Arrived on release day. Worked perfectly. Works with Disc-to-Digital and Xbox Play Anywhere, so you basically get PC version for free!! Comes with a nice sticker inside. E-Day is awesome. One of the best games of 2026 and this console generation. Definitely recommend!

    Gears of War First person shooter Action Game

    I’m a Big fan of this Franchise Game of the Coalition I’ve been playing all their games for 15 years of Gears of War I own every single Gears of War game that’s been released ever since this is an amazing game story I love this game and I recommend to anyone who loves playing this kind of games

    Gears E day is a solid 10/10

    The Coalition did this one right. This is the Best Gears game since Gears of War 3. They bought back the horror of the locust while expanding on the locust and COGs lore. And the story is great, showing the confusion humanity had on E day. They refined the classic gameplay mechanics while adding to it. And graphically speaking it’s the best looking game on the Series x/s this generation. A true show case of how powerful the Series X is when developers actually optimize for its hardware. My only gripe is I wish there was more diversity in gameplay. One of the things made Gears 2 campaign strong was you got to pilot different vehicles. A reever, Centar tank and a Brumach. The Raven minigun sections were good but I wish we also got to piolet a Raven Gunship and and use a Centar to ram through the city rubble and blow locust to bits

    Gears of war e-day

    The story is compelling and there's different side quests that you can do or not do in this game and there's plenty of different yellow cases that you can get for gun attachments you dont have to go to the main story right away you can explore the area

  • Will Best Buy EVER get their act together on shipping pre-orders? I remember before Covid getting pre-ordered games on or before release date. Since Covid, I've had most games shipped ON release date, and at least one was shipped 4-5 days AFTER.

    I pre-ordered it and received on release day Oct 6th without any issues.

  • Is this a physical game

    Yes, phyical disk and supports disc to digital as well, so once you claim digital license, you don’t need to keep the disc in the drive to play it. Just keep in mind, if you sell the disc, your digital license will move to next owner.

    Physical copy will not because the Series S lacks a disc drive but the Digital Copy of the game will work

    Yes. However, it is not available anywhere except through the Xbox Game Studios Gear Shop, and is in-demand. Make haste, should you wish to purchase the console version and its Steelbook there. You will also get a lot more extras and a thank-you letter for purchasing the collector's edition personally, regardless of platform.
