About This Item

Vocalist Jordan Moten InchThe overall theme of this record sort of stems from the title track. In every song I dive into a lot of issues whether it be personal or issues with the world at large. The title track is a love letter to Chicago Hardcore but more broadly to hardcore itself. The 'real world' is full of so much pain and hate that we can't control but within the hardcore community we can. We can use this outlet to improve ourselves, eachother, and eventually the world around us. So that's where 'A World Of Our Own' came from. The idea that hardcore is a little world that we can escape to while building ourselves up to live in a world where we can thrive even through the struggles of everyday real life.Inch - Formed in 2015, Chicago hardcore band Kharma pack a pummeling, rhythmic style made to get you moving. The four-piece band is directly influenced by their city, from the forebears of their scene to the daily circumstances that inform their lyrics and unrelenting aggression. On the upcoming full-length album, A World Of Our Own, due out in 2024 on Flatspot Records, Kharma is taking the listener through the ebb and flow of life. Album Tracks 1. By Any Means 2. Changes 3. Living in Vain 4. Clip Your Wings 5. Envious 6. Still Seeing Red 7. Penance 8. Comfort 9. A World of Our Own 10. Only the Hard Way 11. Necessary

Wilco - Being There - VINYL LP

Limited quadruple vinyl LP pressing. Deluxe edition of the alt-rock band builds on the original with 15 bonus tracks released for the first time, including alternate versions of tracks InchI Got YouInch and InchSay You Miss Me.Inch Also included are four songs the band played on radio station KCRW on November 13, 1996. Being There is the second studio album by the American alternative rock band Wilco, released on October 29, 1996. Despite it's as a double album, Being There was sold at a single album price as a result of a deal between lead singer Jeff Tweedy and the band's tag Reprise Records. The album was an improvement for the band in both sales and critical reception, in contrast to their debut album A.M. (1995). Taking it's name from the 1979 film of the same name, the self-produced album featured more surrealistic and introspective writing than on A.M.. This was due in part to several significant changes in Tweedy's life, including the birth of his first child. Musically, it juxtaposed the alternative country styles songs reminiscent of Uncle Tupelo with psychedelic, surreal songs. It was the only Wilco album with steel guitarist Bob Egan, and their last with multi-instrumentalist Max Johnston. Album Tracks 1. Misunderstood 2. Far, Far Away 3. Monday 4. Outtasite (Outta Mind) 5. Forget the Flower 6. Red-Eyed and Blue 7. I Got You (At the End of the Century) 8. What's the World Got in Store 9. Hotel Arizona 10. Say You Miss Me 1. Sunken Treasure 2. Deftones - Around the Fur - VINYL LP
    4.6(12)

Around the Fur the follow-up to Deftones' passionate, aggressive Adrenaline, sees the California quartet expanding on the sheer rage of their earlier work, adding new, more sinister shades to their already extreme sound. The opening InchMy Own Summer (Shove It),Inch serves as an introduction to the album's sonic theme sinewy guitars and eerie whispers alternate with fast, violent crunch. Sepultura's Max Cavallero contributes guitar and vocals to InchHeadup,Inch while InchMXInch finds singer Chino trading off vocal lines with Annalynn Cunningham, (wife of Deftones' drummer Abe) in an acerbic take on the rock star mentality. Vocal acrobat Moreno attacks a variety of styles his breathy, psychotic recitations sound downright industrial, while the album's calmer, more brooding moments show his gift for haunting melody. Behind him, guitarist Stephen Carpenter's heavy wall of sound is astoundingly muscular, yet inspiringly agile. When Deftones' hellish fury hits full tilt, as it always does on this album, Moreno's voice erupts into screams which are best described as otherworldly, transforming this intense musical firestorm into a hurtling juggernaut of aggression. This LP version comes pressed on 180 gram vinyl. Album Tracks 1. My Own Summer (Shove It) 2. Lhabia 3. Mascara 4. Around the Fur 5. Rickets 6. Be Quiet and Drive (Far Away) 7. Lotion 8. Dai the Flu 9. Headup 10. MX
