Worthy Upgrade!
||Posted .Great Upgrade. Had the iPhone 12 as well as the S21 Ultra. I would consistently grab the S21 Ultra due to better battery life and high refresh rate over the 12... But heavily invested in the Apple ecosystem. So I did miss it. Debated about the 13 Pro or 13 Pro Max. The S21 Ultra is more slim and yet still feels weighty. When you're abd about sometimes a big brick in your hand is not ideal lol. Went with the smaller form factor. More manageable and comfortable. Already have my MacBook, iPad and TV if I want to consume more media.

Best of the New iPhones
||Posted .Owned for less than 1 week when reviewed.I upgraded from an iPhone 11 Pro to the 13 Pro and I am overall pleased with it. If you are an iPhone person, it is a great option - It is fast and fluid. The promotion (120hz) is noticeable but not life changing like how YouTubers talk about it. I wouldn’t upgrade just for that but I’m happy I have it. - The battery life has been great so far. One of the things I loved about my 11 pro was the battery life and the 13 pro is looking like it will have even better. - The cameras are great. Regular photos come out consistently great. Macro pictures are fun. I can’t complain about the cameras except for the size. The camera bump is huge. When the 11 pro came out, people talked about how large those cameras were. That is nothing compared to the 13 pro. It not only takes up more space on the back, it protrudes further out. With or without a case, your phone is not going to be level when lying flat on a table. I’m hoping to get use to it. - The notch is noticeably less wide and slightly taller. The notch has never bothered me much but there is one thing I do not like about this new notch. Some videos that are wider, like some of the 4k videos on YouTube, with the old notch, the video edge ended before the notch. Because the new notch is slightly taller, a sliver of the notch is in those videos. - The phone is slightly heavier than the 11 pro. I haven’t noticed it too much. What I have noticed going from 11 pro to 13 pro are the edges. 11 pro has rounded edges, 13 pro has the flat edges. I prefer the rounded edges. - The screen looks great. It looks brighter and less warm (even with True Tone on) than my iPhone 11 Pro. Overall, if you are in the market for an iPhone and you want this size screen, I highly recommend the 13 pro. You get promotion, awesome cameras, and amazing battery life. It isn’t perfect for the things I mentioned above but no phone is.

Another planned obsolescence of iPhone
||Posted .Owned for 1 week when reviewed.Apple iPhone 13! We got this to upgrade from my wife’s iPhone X, and what an upgrade it is! While Apple continues to make it more difficult to like their products and make it where you’re a servant to the cloud, the phone itself is actually nice. Sharp photos. Clear phone calls. The intuitive text suggestions still suck and actually slow down your ability to write a text. The process to transfer the information from the old phone to the new one is horrible now. We were in Best Buys for nearly 5 hours. This is not any fault of Best Buys people. If you utilize the cloud, then the process would be quicker. We ordered a cover from Amazon for the new phone while we waited, and were pretty sure the cover was going to arrive before we left the store!
