Absolutely love this new version of the iPhone SE.
1. Small to pack around but no sacrifice to quality.
2. Screen size is perfect and not overly big so that it won’t comfortably fit into the pocket.
3. All the great features you would expect.
a. Wireless charging.
b. Excellent battery life.
c. Super fast processor
d. Water resistant and dust resistant.
4. Apple gave nearly all the great features you would find on a flagship iPhone for such a small price starting at $399.
5. No matter what use you have for a smartphone the new iPhone SE will definitely meet your needs.
This is my first iPhone, so there are some hurdles in terms of common Android functions/ controls that I have to unlearn. A user's manual is available on line with many shortcut summaries for common functions on the SE. This replaced a 32 GB Samsung S7 from 2016, so no gripes here about 'only' having 64 GB. I never used the full 32 GB on the Sammy. The size is about the same as my old phone but the increase in speed is stunning. Apple didn't cheap out on the chip or operating system. As a phone it works flawlessly. As a camera it is a big step up from vintage 2016 phone specs. For texting, surfing the web it's great. I'd recommend this phone for anyone not needing top tier performance in every category. The fact that it is rated water resistant is a plus over similarly priced android phones with some of the same specs and features of the iPhone SE 2020. The big deal for me is that Apple will likely support this phone until 2024 or 2025 with security patches and operating system upgrades. No android phone comes close. As for complaints about battery life, I'm easily getting 40-48 hours of intermittent use. Heavy users will be recharging daily or nightly as needed.
I had the iPhone 5 for a long time and had no issues other than the battery was failing and could no longer update. I wanted an easy to use phone that was NOT large. I went to Best Buy, Vestal, NY and worked with Nathan C. He was amazing and spent a good amount of time with me explaining the differences in phones and pros/cons to match my needs. I couldn't have done this without him. I felt working with the team at Best Buy was better due to the personal service, patience, and understanding of my needs coming first, not just making a sale and I was spot on. Best Buy is now my go-to store when needing appliances, electronics, or help. Thank you, Nathan!!!
Oh...I've had my new iPhone SE about 10 days and LOVE it!
Bought this for my mother who wanted an iphone and it is the perfect iphone. I was surprised to see that the photos are on par with my xs max. In fact, they may even be better. The phone is super snappy and fast, it doesn't get sluggish at all. Finally Apple has released a phone that will take the mobile phone business by storm. You can't go wrong with this iphone. Screen is also crystal clear. If you're looking for a new iphone and don't mind the smaller screen, this one is for you. This also has the same cpu as the new iphone 11. You can't go wrong!
Great update for iPhone if you prefer smaller size

I've had this phone for about a month and I'm enjoying it. I previously had a 6S (I KNOW) and it was a great transition as I preferred the smaller sized iPhone. Photo quality is great. Battery life could be a little better, but I typically charge it once a day and use it throughout the day. It has everything you'd expect in terms of Apple's functionality.
Great phone overall. I especially like the camera in this phone. I have taken some wonderful pictures with it. It is a little more expensive than it should be I think, but way less than an iPhone 11. All right
My son had an iPhone 7 but his lightning charge port has broken so he needs to upgrade. This time he choose this SE model because of affordable price with the $50 off sale. Looks nothing new but this SE has wireless charge function, better performance and battery life. It's nice that he could use his iPhone 7 case. Overall good purchase.

Apple iPhone SE review (2020): Great phone, even better price
Building a $400 phone is an exercise in compromise, and the iPhone SE certainly has its share. Despite that, Apple's smallest, cheapest smartphone offers tremendous performance for the price. It won't make sense for everyone, but people who valueFull Review

The iPhone SE (2020) Review: A Reinvigorated Classic
Apple's latest iPhone SE is being released today, and it's certainly going to make a big impact on the market, for the simple reason that this is a $399 iPhone. We've had the new phone for a mere 24 hours, but we've been able to quickly put theFull Review
A:AnswerSometimes when your purchase the equipment from Verizon they’ll require old plans to be updated to new ones but if you purchase the phone outside of them, then there’ll be no changes to your plan
A:AnswerThis phone is the 2nd version of the iPhone SE. The original iPhone SE was based on the iPhone 5S body type. This updated version is based on the iPhone 8 body type. This is a completely new device for 2020. Unless you purchase a “refurbished” device, you will have a brand new iPhone SE 2nd Generation.
A:AnswerI'm not sure how quickly the activation will occur, but you can order the phone and SIM card. I ended up having to call Verizon to assist with the activation. In all, the call with Verizon only took 10-15 minutes. I hope that helps and best of luck.
I just bought new SE's for my entire family and I liked the option to restore the new phone from a backup in iTunes, however there are three options on the Apple support page below. Just click on each method to launch the steps for each option.
Just to elaborate on my preference. I installed iTunes on my computer. (Windows for me, however iTunes should work the same on a Mac) Once iTunes is open I plugged in the older iPhone and followed the prompts to make a backup. I ran the backup twice to make sure. Once the backup was complete I removed the old phone and plugged in the new iPhone and powered it on, then followed the prompts on the phone. Below is a link to Apple support page for making a backup, two two methods are listed, Use your computer is my preference. It is often faster than the iCloud method.
Hope this helps, stay safe!
