A: Yes you would have the same level of Security and Privacy up to the point of, find my device wont be logged in and therefore if someone stole your laptop you wouldn't be able to remote disable it or anything. Its technically the same way for your iMac but its easier to steal a macbook IMO.
Q: Is this laptop worth buying ?
A: Absolutely
Q: Can you connect 2 additional (external) monitors with out having to buy additional equipment?
A: Apple states that the new 15” MacBook Airs may only support one display up to 6K resolution. Beside the external display, you may need another cable to connect to the display. However, most displays/monitors come with these accessories (HDMI, Thunderbolt, USB-C or DisplayPort).
Q: this is brand new right? i don't understand what 'latest model' means

Wonderful choice of an Apple computer!
Having always been a complete fan of Apple products, I am once again delighted with my choice of this Apple MacBook Air 15" Laptop! As a senior, it is everything I wanted in a computer. It is light-making portability so great, so very user friendly and easy to navigate and with a perfect, large screen-so easy to see!! It relieves me of constant use of my iPhone which, of course has unique features of its own and is very valuable to me, while affording me other features that are not available on my phone, one of which is banking features to be more .specific. Great battery life as well. I now feel that I have the best 2 devices to meet all my needs.

Bigger screen with quality!(Open Box ex)
Bigger screen with quality! I’m new to MacBook and it is really good. I don’t play games much but machine never get hot just doing youtube and web searches. I’m looking for the ways to install Windows for M2 chip, which seems possible. Overall, I’m satisfied.

Very nice, but 16gb of Ram should be in base model
This is a perfect machine and I really like it, but it should start with 16gb of ram for the same price, also I don’t like that there’s no silver color here with 16gb of ram and 512 ssd, but i do understand that’s that not Best Buy fault rather Apple who want to sell all midnight models, which are worst color for me imho, I would really love to see discontinued silver here with 16/512 stack, but i still happy. Great machine and great 300 discount.
