The power button does not work , cant turn on and off as i would like & when ever i want, i will deff. have to return it, which sucks because i waited around 2 weeks for it to be delivered. Dissappointed. 0 out of 10. 2 thumbs down on this purchase.
I bought my 8 Plus used from a 3rd party through Best Buy.com, arrived quickly and in good condition overall. Light scratches on the front, but rear glass and anodized aluminum in pristine condition. A pleasant surprise was the included Mint Mobile SIM with three free months of service. Unfortunately it did not come with 1st party accessories, only a new 3rd party charger and cable.
In use, this iPhone 8 Plus 256 has been a fantastic upgrade from my 6S Plus 128. I’m especially impressed by the TruTone color reproduction and “stereo” speaker output. Performance with iOS 13 is crisp and snappy, breathing new life into old applications. The improvement brought with the increased RAM and A11 Bionic is palpable when running resource intensive applications. You can tell there’s iPhone X pedigree inside. And while the major improvements introduced recently in the 11 series are nothing to scoff at, neither is the 8 Plus for those who prefer Touch ID and the 7/8 form factor.
I have been using my phone for a while. First attempted mailing was sent to me with a wrong phone. Then they resent me a correct phone. Everything looks good as new. But currently the screen seems response slower than before. Other than that , everything is look.
So far, the phone seems Ok. I'm a bit concerned about the battery, it seems to drain quickly. I'm hoping it is not an issues. I haven't had the phone long enough to judge it just yet, but I did buy a powerpack, just in case I need it out & about.
A:AnswerPreowned phone is always a nightmare. You may end up with paying restock fees even for no fault of yours.
My personal experience says, the phone had few minor scratches but clean. While examining closely , I noticed a big gap at one of the screen. Certainly that is a defect. But when I explained the store manager, they initiated the returns but charged me $35.
You can definitely try your luck but be open to pay the restock fees.
A:AnswerI bought this phone about 4 months ago and have had zero issues with it on Verizon’s network, iCloud as well. It was a great alternative to going through Verizon seeing as we did not have insurance and lost a phone :) I highly recommend it!
A:AnswerYou can use it for around a month or two to see if you come up with problems. My 8 plus drains kind of quickly, so I may or may not buy this phone and just go for another apple phone. But not all phones are the same, even the same model of a phone can cause issues that others don't have. So I can't give you an accurate result as to if the battery is good and worth the price. Hopefully, this helps you know if the battery of your phone is good enough or not.
