Questions & Answers (242)
- A: I took the Series 3 with GPS only. First using the cellular feature on series 3 watches places a major hit on the battery so expect more frequent charging. With the new processor and not having the cellular feature gives you a significant advantage on lengthening the time between battery charges. For example my wife's series 2 needs a battery charge almost every 24-30 hours. My series 3 with GPS and no cellular requires battery charging every 48-52 hours dependent upon screen activity.
- A: depending on what watch you have and the condition you can trade yours in for store credit. series 3 cellular does not require an additional number, it uses your current cellular number
- A: If you want to use the cellular connectivity on the watch (LTE), you'll have to pay $10/mo. Otherwise if you don't want to pay for cellular, you can use it as a normal Apple Watch
- A: All carriers will charge a $10/month fee, although some are offering a 3 month free trial.
Q: Does it use wi-fi? Or do I have to pay to see email or text. (1 answers)
A: If you purchase the watch with only gps, you do not need a data plan and are able to see your messages and emails as long as your Apple phone is in close proximity If you purchase the gps/ cellular, it will do the same as above but if you want to use the watch without your Apple phone nearby, you need a data plan and then the watch functions independently and you are also able to use as a “phone”. I have ATT and the cost is an additional $10/month for cellular service Hope this helps ...Q: does Verizon offer the free trial for the Apple Watch series 3 if bought at Best Buy? (2 answers)
A: Yes it does! I just got mine connected this morning. From Verizon I received zero activation fee and the first 3 months free and I bought it from Best Buy which is an authorized Verizon retail store.Q: Can you change the band on this watch? (2 answers)
A: Yes, you can change the band very easily. Many Apple and third-party bands available. Band/watch bundles are limited to buy, but once you buy any number of bands can be used.Q: Does sprint offer the 3 month free service (1 answers)
A: Yes they do and after the three month trial is up you have to pay 15 dollars
