I love this watch. The instant ekg is a must for people concerned with their heart. My actually came up with a irregular heart rhythm today, so I’m keeping a close eye out. The Pillow app(27. Yearly) has helped me improve my sleep patterns and I feel set i much better. Keep track of my walking/exercise has encouraged me to do more daily. Knowing my heart rate they out the day keeps me on track. Being disabled, I forget to stand a lot , the watch reminds me. And Breathe app keeps me relaxed thru out the day. Solid buy. Answering me calls (mine is basic no cellular/works with my existing number) is so convient. I change the clock face daily .
I was considering buying the series 3, but then I chose the 5. I couldn’t be happier with my decision. The watch has so many functions, for instance you can answer the phone and it has a mini speaker, so you don’t even need the earphones! No more worries to find the phone to answer a call. Many people complained about the always lit screen, but I actually love it! It’s nice to see the time ALWAYS, and when I’m running, I can keep track of all the metrics without gesturing. Battery lasts all day, which is fine, I’m not going to use the power-saving mode if I paid 400 bucks for all the magic that comes with the watch functioning at 100%. I also feel that Siri is more effective on the watch than on the phone. I also like taking ECGs although I don’t need to. They’re just fun to watch lol. The design and the touch of the watch is awesome. Honestly, it’s soooo easy to use. Oh! And I love the pink color. :)
This is my first Apple Watch and although I’ve only had it for a few days I already love it. Just the fact that it connects so easily with your phone for things like notifications is why I like it so much. If you’re thinking about getting one, get it!
Highly recommend!!! Absolutely love this watch!!! I didn’t go for cellular because I didn’t feel the need to text/call on it when out of reach from my actual phone, but my fiancé regrets not getting the cellular for this reason! I also got the 40mm because, again, I’m not using it for texting, but I would recommend the larger size if you want to use it for more than just the basics!
Ok, I was stuck out in the country during the pandemic and my gal pals back at home started a challenge. They all had Apple Watches to help them keep track of their progress and I decided I would treat myself for mothers day. So, now I am getting up and moving more, keeping track of walking, jogging and WHOO HOOO Swimming! Plus, it's nice to stop and "Breathe!" I never knew how much I would appreciate being able to see my calls or messages on my watch - it's so much nicer than glancing at my phone - and way more stealth when I am in a meeting to notice who is trying to reach me. I am happy with the purchase and know I will enjoy it even more as I learn more ways to utilize the apps, etc.
I first purchased this watch as an impulse buy one night while drunk. I wore it for a few days and wasn't really seeing and use or benefit. Don't get me wrong, its a nice device but it wasn't about a week later when I started cycling that I saw the real charm of this little guy. Tracking workout progress and navigating music from the watch face is a real joy. The only downfall is the messaging features. You have to pay and download another app to text back from the watch and you can't turn off Whatsapp notifications. Other than that its pretty swell
Love this watch! Never thought of myself as a techie but my husband bought me this and I really love having a little weight tracker, calorie counter, weather app, watch on my wrist.. it’s so useful for checking messages and alerts without digging out my phone. If it wasn’t waterproof it would be no good for me so that as an update was really a game changer for me, Would highly recommend.
I’m so glad I bought this watch. I originally wanted it to keep track of my workouts and heart rate and the like. I love all the features now though, especially the walkie-talkie function. Also Best Buy is awesome with their price matching because it went on sale two weeks after I bought it and they did my price match even without my receipt (they looked it up for me). The customer service was amazing!!!

Apple Watch 5 review
Two-minute review On paper the Apple Watch 5 is one of the most underwhelming upgrades Apple has ever unveiled. It’s essentially the Watch 4 – one of our best smartwatches, admittedly – with a compass, more cellular bands to callFull Review

Apple Watch Series 5 review: The best smartwatch gets (slightly) better
The Apple Watch is still the best smartwatch. Though the Series 5 feels like a minor update to last year's Series 4, it will fit the bill for the vast majority of people buying Apple Watches for the first time.Full Review
Apple Watch Series 5 review: A smartwatch close to perfection
The Apple Watch Series 5 is close to perfection, as good as smartwatches can get today. It does everything from receive notifications to monitoring your heart rate without a hitch, has a design that's becoming timeless, and a feature list that'sFull Review
A:AnswerI would recommend going to the Apple site and watching the video about Apple Watch. I have used an Apple Watch for years and have this $399 version. I use it to show temperature on my watch face as well as my activity progress, time and date. I really enjoy the fact that it shows my activity - how many calories I have expended, how many minutes I have exercised, and how many hours I have stood.. It does a great job with showing texts, controlling music or audiobooks that are playing on the phone, tracking work out whether at the gym or walking outside. It will show a map of where are you have walked outside. it also shows incoming phone calls and calls can be answered or declined from the watch. it is a powerful and enjoyable little piece of technology.
A:AnswerGPS Requires phone to be able to use certain features, like accurate measurements, calling, messaging, etc.
GPS CELLULAR does not need a phone to operate; letting you be free of carrying your phone for running, swimming, hiking, etc where a phone may be a drag
A:AnswerOnly on the Cellular models. The GPS/Wifi only models will need to be tethered to your phone to get texts/most notifications. Cellular models can activate the feature whenever at an additional charge to your phone bill. The feature on the cellular model does not need to be activated.
