Got the watch cheaper at Best Buy than at att store. Love that they price- match. I did get a stretchy band on amazon for it though. Much more comfortable now. Can even sleep with it. Works well with continuous glucose monitor. Loving it so far.

Apple Watch 5 review
Two-minute review On paper the Apple Watch 5 is one of the most underwhelming upgrades Apple has ever unveiled. It’s essentially the Watch 4 – one of our best smartwatches, admittedly – with a compass, more cellular bands to callFull Review

Apple Watch Series 5 review: The best smartwatch gets (slightly) better
The Apple Watch is still the best smartwatch. Though the Series 5 feels like a minor update to last year's Series 4, it will fit the bill for the vast majority of people buying Apple Watches for the first time.Full Review

A:AnswerIf you purchase the cellular + gps it is optional...you do not have to activate. I have activated mine and have TMobile so it cost me $10 per month per watch. I think every carrier's price is different but I do not think the price exceeds $15 per month with any of them.
A:AnswerYes, there is an additional charge for a phone line attached to the watch device but it is nominal. Mine is only $10 extra added to my bill. I think it depends on how many other devices and what plan your on though. It tough part for me was getting a knowledgeable ATT rep to help set up phone line to watch so be patient and keep asking for a new rep if you don’t succeed the first time or better yet let Best Buy reps help you set it up. I lived too far away or I would have set up with them first. Good luck! You will love it!
