I absolutely love these headphones. I previously owned the QC15 version, and I could not be happier that I decided to upgrade to this pair. First off, I love that these special edition ones are monochromatic in black, including the Bose logo. They are a bit lighter in weight, the sound quality is great, and the noise canceling is even better than before. These make airline travel much quieter. They also make studying in noisy environments bearable and help me to keep my concentration. One other convenience is you are able to answer calls and speak through the attached microphone with volume control. Overall, I am very satisfied and would recommend them to anyone looking for a quality pair of noise canceling headphones.

First think I have to say is...get a warranty. Headphones stop working way to easily (for me anyways since I work in a busy place and they get bumped around a little) and best buy has stopped trying to fix them so they simply replace them.
Besides that, I love these headphones. The sound quality is good in the loud busy place I work in and I love how you don't have to always have them turned on (using the battery) to hear sound unlike the last pair of Bose I had. I still wish this was a rechargeable headphone instead of using batteries because if you use them everyday like I do, you will go through a lot of batteries but with the option to just use normal sound quality without using the battery for everyday use at home is nice. Its not heavy but if your working in warm conditions, the ear cushions do get a little warm against your head (not due to the device itself just due to your own body heat) and sweat likes to collect around them. The last Bose headphones I owned had a longer cord then this one so I kind of miss that but the cord on this is long enough for most people, just not for me. I'm happy with the headphones, I just hope it last longer then a year unlike my last pair.

If you are looking for headphone that completely blocks out the outside world, then these are for you. They do so while allowing the rich sound of whatever music you're listening to envelop your ears.
These headphones are not big on bass, instead you get a natural rich sound that won't disappoint. Buy them!

In the past year I finally found some behind the ear hearing aids (Oticon Nera Pro) which were comfortable to wear at about the same time I decided to finally replace my original Bose Quiet Comfort headphones (because the foam padding was falling apart after years of use). I was pleased to discover that wearing the QC 25's over my hearing aids did not cause *uncorrectable* feedback, thanks to both the shape of the headphones and the noise cancellation capabilities of my hearing aids (and probably the shape of my ears). The noise cancellation aspect of the QC 25s during air travel is a definite improvement over that of the original QCs (amazing that this is even possible!), and the sound reproduction is remarkable (as usual)! I haven't tried using the QC 25 telephone capability, but I can see how it would be a nifty perk for those who don't have the super powers that come with my hearing aids. The QC 25s come with fewer adapters and no extension cord, which came with my original QC, but several of those adapters were for old technology, and extension cords are probably easy to come by (I haven't looked b/c the one that came with my original QCs still works fine for letting me stand up and walk around a bit during webinars viewed in my cubicle at work). Overall, I am very pleased with this purchase!

Prior use of an earlier model led me to choose the Bose headphones. These headphones work for noise-cancellation delivering crisp audio and significantly reducing external noise. I fly a fair amount and they reduce cabin noise creating a more pleasant flight. They are pricey but perform well.

I was on the hunt for Noise Cancelling headphones for a while. I went online and did research for about 3 months to find the best ones. The QC 25 fit my budget (although I would have LOVED to splurge the QC 35 II) and get the job done. They are super comfortable. Although they are wired, if you want to listen to music. There are Bluetooth adapters to free you of the cables that range from $20-$60 for the longer battery life. Wire has a mic, which is helpful, and the carrying case is very convenient.

Bought these for my wife due to her love of my Bose NC headphones. She used mine for travel and for occasional home use to drown out distractions. When Bose finally offered another color option other than black I jumped. Very classy headphones. You pay for it, but Bose does a great job. Would be 5 stars if not for price...

A:Yes I had the same thing with the Bose 700 Headphones ... after a few hours of use I had bad itches, raised bumps and water leaking out around my ears and on the lobes where the rash was. This happened three times after using these headphones (and the effects last for a few day’s each time) and I assume it’s something in the cup material. I’ve now switched to a different brand and all is fine.
A:These are very bulky headphones and while running they will come off your head easy. These are not meant to be sport headphones and will get damaged. If you are looking for sport headphones in Bose I recommend the Bose SIE2 for Androids and SIE2i for iPhone. These are great headphones to use while working out and for music overall.
A:The materials used in our QC25 headphones are designed for both comfort and durability. While they don’t require scheduled cleaning, they can be cleaned with a damp cloth. Additionally, replacement ear cushions are available from Bose as this is a wearable item. Thank you.
A:Both versions of these headphones will play audio and take calls on most devices, regardless of brand. The specific differences are in the volume controls. Depending on which set you buy, your in-line volume +/- controls will work with either Apple or Samsung devices. We would suggest choosing them based on whichever device you use most often when on the go. Hope this helps!
A:You can read the specs for all differences but having owned a lot of Bise headphones I'll mention some that stick out to me. The new QC25s have gone back to an over the ear design (like the QC3s) vs the QC15s on ear design. This seems to help reduce noise that may come through your outer ear since now they seal to your head or hair. The reason I upgraded was my ear pads were deteriorating due to age (always stored in case) which was leaving black specks on my head (not cool) & wire was pulled out of minimal plug strain relief so would have failed where bending soon.
Also QC headband was ridiculously wide above ear cups, & silver color sucks. Sounded great, but now you can choose color(s). Also 25s fold smaller into a retangulat case vs 15s toilet seat shaped case. Keep the dual plug adapter from old ones & store with extra batteries. Worth every penny.
