A consummate storyteller, the country rock inspired Bronco plays upon the horse theme so often found in Orville's work, but this time with an exploration of freedom, breaking free from that which binds us and all that is wild and untamed. Bronco builds upon and follows Peck's previous album Pony and EP Show Pony, which explored themes of love, loss and loneliness but advances the story arc in a bolder, newer and warmer trajectory. InchThis is my most impassioned and authentic album to date,Inch says Peck. InchI was inspired by country rock, 60s & 70s psychedelic, California and even bluegrass with everything being anchored in country. Prequelle follows Ghost's third studio album, Meliora, and it's accompanying EP Popestar, which elevated the Swedish rock band into the pantheon of the greatest rock bands on earth and resulted in a Grammy Award for Best Metal Performance. Prequelle delves into the plague, the apocalypse, and dark ages. Ghost was formed in Linköping, Sweden in 2006. The band is easily recognizable owing greatly to it's eccentric on-stage presence. Five of the group's six members, it's 'Nameless Ghouls,' wear virtually identical, face-concealing costumes. The most distinguishable member is it's vocalist, called Papa Emeritus, who wears a prosthetic mask of skull face paint and appears as what can be described as a Inchdemonic anti-Pope.Inch Album Tracks 1. Around the Fur the follow-up to Deftones' passionate, aggressive Adrenaline, sees the California quartet expanding on the sheer rage of their earlier work, adding new, more sinister shades to their already extreme sound. The opening InchMy Own Summer (Shove It),Inch serves as an introduction to the album's sonic theme sinewy guitars and eerie whispers alternate with fast, violent crunch. Sepultura's Max Cavallero contributes guitar and vocals to InchHeadup,Inch while InchMXInch finds singer Chino trading off vocal lines with Annalynn Cunningham, (wife of Deftones' drummer Abe) in an acerbic take on the rock star mentality. Vocal acrobat Moreno attacks a variety of styles his breathy, psychotic recitations sound downright industrial, while the album's calmer, more brooding moments show his gift for haunting melody. Behind him, guitarist Stephen Carpenter's heavy wall of sound is astoundingly muscular, yet inspiringly agile. When Deftones' hellish fury hits full tilt, as it always does on this album, Moreno's voice erupts into screams which are best described as otherworldly, transforming this intense musical firestorm into a hurtling juggernaut of aggression.
