Application software provided is not that good!
The application is not that intuitive! The applications need and update!

Doesn't appear in smart tv as media server
Biggest drawback of Buffalo linkstation is it doesn't appear in smart tv as media server like WD.

Better NAS Drive for its price
This was my second Buffalo NAS drive with twice the size as my first one as it was nearing it full capacity. Setup was done in less than an hour without any major issue. Already transferred most of my pics and videos on the new drive though it took quite sometime to do it because I have a lot of them. I will closely check the performance for a few months and will be back here for more information.
