Another national anthem's classic.
||Posted .Owned for 2 months when reviewed.Caddyshack starring Dan aykroyd, Rodney Dangerfield, Ted Knight, Bill Murray, and Bill Murray's brother Brian Doyle Murray. This movie is such a classic. Bill Murray plays a groundskeeper Brian Doyle Murray plays the boss of all the caddies Ted Knight owns the golf course. Chevy Chase I would say is more of a supporting role in this than an actual starring role. Ronnie Dangerfield comes to the golf course with a bunch of friends causing antics and all out craziness he makes a bet with Ted Knight towards the end of the movie which just makes things crazy Bill Murray is chasing a gopher throughout the whole entire movie to keep the grounds nice and neat which causes even more antics than anything else. If anybody knows national anthems and they know the craziness these movies cause it's worth having in your collection by far.

Lots of fun.
||Posted .Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed.Caddyshack is a true classic film. Even after 30 years I laugh out loud at both the subtle and not at all subtle humor and social satire. I guess that the 30th Anniversary Edition makes it a real collector's item, right?

A classic comedy! A must see!
||Posted .Owned for 2 months when reviewed. What can you say about this movie? One of the funniest pictures ever made! If you enjoy this kind of raunchy, Rodney Dangerfield humor, then this movie is a must watch! I honestly think this is one of his best movies! I may have watched this movie hundreds of times, but each time it’s just as funny to me! Definitely 5 stars! I would give it way more stars if I could!

The Snobs Against the Slobs--Again!
||Posted .The 30th anniversary re-release of Harold Ramis' 1980 comedy classic CADDYSHACK is not very celebratory, which is why I could not give this product a five-star review. In fact, nothing on the DVD packaging itself indicates that Warner Home Video was trying to promote this release as an anniversary edition--that idea was conveyed by the Best Buy packaging. The only important bonus feature is a nice documentary/retrospective on the making of the film, but it is pretty old--from 1999, in fact--and I suspect has already appeared on earlier versions of the DVD. But on the other hand, my Best Buy was selling the disc for just five bucks, and I had a $5 birthday reward certificate, so it cost me nothing (technically I had to buy a soft drink to bring my total purchase price over the $5 minimum, but I was thirsty anyway). The movie itself is one of the great comedies of the 80s, perhaps my least favorite decade in cinema history except for the classic laff fests of my youth. Originally intended to be a much darker comedy that focused more on Danny (Michael O'Keefe) and his fellow caddies, CADDYSHACK wound up emphasizing comedy legends Chevy Chase, Bill Murray, Ted Knight, and the immortal Rodney Dangerfield--and thank God (or Harold Ramis) for that turn of events, for it is the grownups who earn the movie its hilarious reputation. One of the most quotable films of all time, CADDYSHACK is slapstick, grossout comedy of the finest kind; if that sounds like something that will tickle your funny bone, don't miss it!
