During the winter in the 1990s, a group of 20 French dancers meet for a three-day rehearsal in a remote abandoned building. At a party to kick off their gathering, they all unknowingly consume sangria that has been laced with LSD. Soon, their celebration becomes an all-night nightmare in which the drugs unlock their fears, anger, neurosis and more, turning the gathering violent. Written and directed by Gaspar Noé. Sofia Boutella co-stars.~Phil Griffin
Now this movie is decisive. There’s two camps, you love it or you hate it. My girl friend falls into the hate side. I fall into the love it side. It’s like an acid trip gone horribly wrong and movie of it’s done in dance. This movie and suspiria have finally captured something that I didn’t realize I needed in my horror movies dance and it’s haunting. But like all of this directors movies not for everyone but I think worth finding out if your one of chosen to like his movies.
