A: The rivets are very smooth, but it is difficult to determine whether theyare nonstick coated. My guess, is no. However, I haven't had anything stick to them that didn't immediately wipe off, just as with the rest of the interior of the pan or pot.

A: Plastic or wooden utensils should be used. Do not use sharp utensils such as forks, knives, mashers or whisks as they can scratch the surface.
