Very efficient. I had purchased other 2-in-1 laptops, but aside from being expensive, they had some limitations. However, this laptop is very decent for its price, and its tablet functions work quickly. My first impression has been good.

I am satisfied considering the comparatively reasonable price, but there are pluses and significant minuses compared to my 12 year old Dell laptop that I purchased in 2013. Plus 1: I thought that my old laptop was fast as can be, but this one is considerably faster. I don't know if that is due to Windows 11 over Windows 10, the fact that the hard drive is 100% SSD compared to the old one being SSD only for boot up, or the higher amount of memory. Plus 2: It is more compact and much lighter and more portable. But the size is also a negative (see below). Minus 1: Old laptop was a 15 inch screen and I wanted the new one to be at least that. But this is 14 and the 15 inch laptops with similar features are disproportionately more expensive. Minus 2: This is my major complaint. I came to the store looking for a laptop that like my old one, would have a dedicated graphics card. My old laptop gives me incredibly sharp and beautiful HD images. I'm not a technical person and I didn't have the opportunity to do the consumer research I ordinarily would do, so I was dependent on representations of your sales staff. On this issue of the graphics card, I feel that I was gaslighted when they told me that if I'm not a gamer, that video and streaming images would be equal to the Invidia card imagery I had on the old laptop even though graphics are integrated on the new one. That's just not close to being true. The image quality is good, but it is significantly inferior to the quality of the old laptop with the dedicated graphics. I looked at other laptops available in the store that had dedicated graphics and 15 inch screens, and they were close to triple the price!!! That seems outrageous to me when the only significant differences are dedicated graphics and a display that is 1 inch larger. I do realize that is not a Best Buy issue - more of a manufacturer's issue, but I didn't appreciate the disappointment of taking it home and realizing that the representations made on both of those issues were not really accurate. I was told that I could return it in 60 days if not satisfied, and that may happen. I haven't decided yet. Minus 3: Relating to Best Buy specifically and not this laptop, I was very disappointed to learn (if I understood this correctly), that "Geek Squad" membership fees are now charged separately for purchases made from different departments rather than my prior understanding that a single membership applied to all purchases made. I plan to buy a new TV in the short term. When I renewed my membership I assumed it would cover both this laptop purchase and an anticipated TV purchase. But I'm told that it is a separate fee! If that is the case, my TV search will widen to all potential sources of purchase. If my membership also applied to services applicable to a new TV, then I would find a TV at Best Buy.
