A: AnswerMy tv is on the wall on a fully articulated mount, with the Soundbar directly below it. The up firing speakers likely reflect some off the front of the tv. I still get some semblance of height effect (about what I expected from a 400 Soundbar). Don’t get me wrong, this is a great budget bar. Just set your Atmos expectations fairly low.Answered by DavidP

Stop looking- mid-high end sound is here
i LOVE this soundbar! I have tried and heard dozens and dozens of all sorts of brands, sizes, quantities and prices, and this simply checked all the boxes across the board. Great, deep bass, fantastic. crisp highs and most importantly, rich and full mids. I really like that Denon has simplified the controls down. You've EQ presets, vocal booster levels and bass levels. Thats it! So simple yet puts you in control to fine tune. The soundbar looks real nice and a bit bigger than most others out there. The subwoofer is fairly compact and light for what you get. Passthrough has Dolby Vision capability so it's not the old, cheap hardware from other brands. I highly recommend the Denon to everyone who aims for high quality on a budget. Even if you're looking at $300 bars - spend a little extra for this mid-high end system and you won't be disappointed

Nice soundbar. Much better than the Samsung competition, and Denon has made high quality, reliable audio components for many years. Highly recommend!
