Great product.
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Having an extra battery for my camcorder batteries came is a must. This battery performed as expected and allowed me to video while backup battery was charging. Never missed a shot since purchasing this.

Very good replacement battery.
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Battery has longer life than one that came with camera. The recharge time is also good. Would be helpful to have positive terminal marked on top of battery so you always know which way it fits into charger.

Cheaper, but doesn't last as long.
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I bought this as a back up battery. It was cheaper than the Sony OEM battery, but it only gives 40-45 min of power vs 60 min with the Sony OEM. The Re-Fuel battery is only rated 650mAh vs Sony rated 980mAh. I got the battery on sale, so I can't complain since it was way cheaper. However, if I had known this beforehand, I don't think I would've purchased this item even if it was on sale.

It's an off brand battery, but....
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This is a knock off battery for an old Sony video camera. It seems to function at least as well as the original Sony.

Just a spare
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Bought this with my Sony AX53 as a spare. Fits well (although smaller than stock), haven't had any issues with it at all.

backup battery
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. So I needed to video 3 guest speakers totaling 3.5 hours in High def. I knew that I had a good battery and could recharge during breaks. No i could not plug it into a wall outlet while filming... and this battery saved me and lasted the entire 3rd hour without a swap.

Sony NP-FV70 - Having Extra Batteries
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I have been filming my SOn's Lacrosse Game for the last 2 years, and when my primary battery runs out, I reach for my backup battery. This battery compared to others really holds up for the length of time as indicated in the documentation - I am able to get 60 minutes direct recording. I am impressed. :)

Does its job
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Great replacement for our Sony camcorder. Other battery had died so bought this one. Does the job.

Q: QuestionWill this work with a Sony Handycam CCD-TRV66 Hi8 camera? The manual indicates it accepts Np f330/f530/f550/f730/f750/f930 & f950. Thanks
Asked by SL.
- A:Answer No, as this are two totally different batteries. You would need to most likely shop for the battery you need on ebay as it's been discontinued for many years now.

Q: QuestionCan it replace a NP-FM30 battery?
Asked by Nick.
- A:Answer No, the FM30 is a different battery than FV50 altogether actually. The FM30 at this point is discontinued from pretty much everyone. You could perhaps find it at ebay or amazon at this point in time.

Q: QuestionIs this an InfoLithium battery? My Sony DCR-DVD92 needs not just the NP-FV50, but also it has to be InfoLithuium compatible.
Asked by InfoLithuim.
- A:Answer No it’s not an info lithium ion battery. Just a lithium ion battery. The battery I purchased is what the Best Buy representative recommended. It seems to match the model number of the battery it’s replacing
