Dyson - Corrale straightener Special Gift Edition - Black Nickel / Fuchsia

I do really love the Dyson - Corrale Hair Straightener. I’ve now had it for 6 months and it’s amazing. The reason for the 4 stars is because I received a defective one and Dyson would not help me. I went back to Best Buy and they exchanged it even though Dyson told me not to take it back to the store. It’s been 6 months and I still have not heard from them. Pros: cordless! My curls stays in for days! They have these little teeth that holds the hair in place. Con: the battery life sucks. As much as it weighs I though I could go days without recharging.

Like everyone else I was very skeptical about an straightener that costs $499! I did a lot of research, watched a ton of videos. But still waited. After I bought the blow dryer and loving it I started to look into this more. I finally took the plunge and I don't regret it. I LOVE this flat iron. And I have used many.. From chi to GHD. This blows all of them out of the water. It is worth the price First the technology is subpar. You will not find any flat iron as good as this one. It has consistent heat. You do not get any creases when you curl your hair. I have tried and tried to get pretty curls from other flat irons. And never had luck . Until now. My hair just glides through so smoothly and I get beautiful bouncy curls. The first time I used it to curl my hair I almost thought it didn't work because there was no tugging or snagging my hair like other irons. And I don't have to go over them over and over again to get them right either. My hair has so much shine too I believe over time , like the blow dryer, I will have less damage because of how this is made and you don't have to run it through a million times. And I get done faster too. Before it would take me at least 30 min to curl. Now only 15! I have heard a lot of people comment about the weight of the iron. And the first time I picked it up I thought wow this will be to heavy to work with. But being that it is cordless , the weight works to its benefit. It makes it a lot easier to get a good grip and since it glides through so easily the weight isn't even a issue. The charge holds for a good amount of time too The 15 min it takes me to curl my hair I still have 60% charge on the battery. If you can invest in this tool you will not be disappointed! I love it!! I can take it anywhere with me even in the car!! Its perfect for on the go! Also it has airplane mode so you can take it on the plane. The charge lasts for hours and it heats up in less than 30 seconds to 410 degrees.

I love the idea, I love the looks. But it still needs improvement! The iron is a bit heavy and bulky. Lasts less than 15 mins only from full charge and I have long thick wavy hair (not curly) I have to pause half way to charge. Wish there was an option to keep it wired, you have to charge a few mins to be able to use again. For the price, I wish I can still return it and exchange for the air wrap or hair blower instead. But I am past return.

Best Flat iron money can buy! Hands down the best for protecting your hair, wont burn scalp when getting up against the root. Heats up super fast and light weight enough to put in your purse for on the go touch ups. Holds 30 min of use when charged. If you place on the charging dock inbetween passes. It lasts and stays fully charged. Has the option to attach the cord directly to the flat iron, but that defeats the purse of cordless. Thats why the charging dock is a must. This is the second one I've purchased. When they dropped this new beautiful color I upgraded all my Dyson tools to match. Then found out the new model has even more power than the first edition. So definitely worth the price.

This straightener is awesome! It is so fast to heat up, doesn't hurt your hair and the best part is you can take it with you to use anywhere as it can be used cordless! just charge it for a bit!!

I have to say I was very skeptical about spending the money for this. I read the reviews and decided to give it a whirl. I was tired of getting burnt with my old one. I am at no means experienced at straightening and usually just go curly bc either I over heat or arm falls off takes so long. I wish this held a longer charge bc I almost get to finish before it dies and have to plug it in. My hair is extremely curly. Yes its slightly heavier then my old one but I will take that anyway over being burnt. I absolutely love love love this straightener hope it last very long time bc It was expensive but I’m enjoying the different ways I can wear my hair now. Worth a try for the experienced person.
