A top tier movie. This is a really wacky movie that has multiple layers hitting much deeper topics than expected. Some would consider it an “Asian Movie” but labeling it as that is discredit to the cast and crew and muddies the waters for a movie people are already raising their noses to. People complain that there is no originality in the industry then continue to see the same movies with the same trailers and wonder why. I personally went into this movie blind, I didn’t even know the title. My sister invited my girlfriend and I and I’m so glad she did. It’s definitely for an older audience, or requires some parental guidance, but I’d argue there are much more concerning movies parents allow their children to watch. Just try to approach the movie with an open mind and see where it takes you. This movie has a scene where the protagonist’s husband tells her what strength and practicality means to him, and honestly I believe everyone needs to hear/see it. It puts a feeling I’ve had into words and I’m glad my GF heard it. In terms of the actual product it is your run of the mill Blu-ray/DVD combo. Maybe share the DVD with a friend even if you watch the movie and don’t enjoy it, perhaps they can and it’ll be a great conversation next time you meet. It also comes with a digital copy if you like that, or want to share it that way instead. 10/10 must see/recommend!

Great movie. amazing cinematography and plot. case was sealed and digital code was still available, which shouldn't have to be part of the review but unfortunately hasn't always been the case when ordering a movie.

While streaming is convenient. However, just like buying digital movies, you don't really own them. You are merely licensing them. If the internet goes down, so does your entertainment. However, physical media will always be there for you. If you love a movie, own it.

The movie is great, not perfect a bit overrated but they did so much with the little budget they had, Great special effects and a moving story, it might not be for everyone though, it can be slow at times and it does take place mostly at 2 locations, the IRS Building and a Laundromat so be prepared. Michelle Yeo definitely needs to win all the awards she is a sensation as always. Btw the 4k is one of the best I have ever purchased looked amazing on my 4k tv.

Underdog movie of the year. I think this is one of, if not the best movie of the year. It mixes drama with action, comedy, and even throws in romance. There's sci-fi elements, and many wacky moments that compel you to wonder what could possibly happen next.
