Good
||Posted .The theory is sound, boot on the stick and then scan so that any issues with the OS will be detected. But do you need it? For Mac, probably not (I didn't.) Plus you get bombarded with soliciting e-mails trying to scare you into parting with your money to get what you should have gotten for the $60 you spent getting the stick. WebRoot scans when it first come up, so if there are no OS issues, this should not be needed.

Doesn't work with High Sierra
||Posted .On older Macs it works fine, but High Sierra beings the APFS file system and this product is not compatible with that yet. They say it will be in 3-6 months (so Spring 2018).

I found this very poor
Posted .This is how I found to work the FixmeStick for my Mac Computer. Unplug all USB Ports, (the USB port has to be on the computer itself). Pick a port for the Fix-me-stick turn the computer on per instructions. If this one doesn’t work turn the computer off and pick another USB port until you fine one that with work, turning the computer on and off as you go. Push the power button and hold for whatever length of time it takes to turn off and that doesn’t work turn off your Mac anyway you can. After finding the right USB port, with your Mac off, plug the keyboard in and turn the computer on as in the instructions. Next good luck on this one, pairing the bluetooth mouse to the Fix-me-Stick program. I found the light on the mouse will blink but won’t pair to the program. So I turned the mouse on and off took the batteries out turn the mouse on and off some more, turn the computer off started over. About 20 min of so the mouse paired to the program. (I was told to buy a wired mouse for this program). You are just about home free now. Pick one of the 3 choices that is listed when the program starts. I found the only one of the 3 that would work for me was called failsafe-1 at this point. I about fell off my chair the program started and about 5 hours and 30 minutes later the Fix-me-stick program said I had no problems. Would I recommend this Fix-me-Stick, Absolutely NO. Good Luck.
