Third-Person Shooter Game for Fans
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This is a pretty fun shooter game to jump in and play. It is not one of my favorites unfortunately. I played it for a while but did not get too far. I thought the controls and the gameplay could use improvement. It can be difficult to aim at specific enemies and the controls just feel a bit clunky to me. It is nice for nostalgic purposes and those who watched the TV show will surely enjoy seeing their favorite characters in the video game. It does have co-op... I cannot recommend this sadly except to diehard fans mostly. IMO I think they could have done more with this particular license which does have serious potential; it is OK.

Gi Joe is a go!
||Posted . Owned for 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I purchased the game for my brother, "who turned 50", but grew up watching the GI Joe cartoon every weekday after school. The game is a tribute to the cartoon and is just in need of a update to make it even better. For the price $20, it is a no brainer and even has the co-op feature to be able to play the game with someone else online. Again, the game is not perfect, but for nostalgia and some great memories it is worth it.

Biscuit's views
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Super fun, and pretty basic mechanics. A fan would appreciate this even more, but just as fun I would say to someone new to the world of GiJoe. I think the only complaint I can think of is a better AI when you don't have someone to play with. The AI tends to get in the way at times, and or bail on you and offer almost no support when things get hairy. Otherwise really enjoy it, thx.

Yo Joe!
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Decent gameplay, but a little difficult to control/understand some of the "rules of combat". Part of that could be because I don't play run-and-gun games. Cool designs, missions, and art, but the real fun in this is the story, and the nostalgia of it all. Strangely, I seem to do better playing as Cobra than as the Joes.

Trip down memory lane.
||Posted . Owned for 1 year when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Perfect timing for the gi joe classified line . Game could’ve had more characters and online. But it’s a great trip down memory lane

Mediocre Game for GI Joe Fans
||Posted . Owned for 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. If you like GI Joe and if this game is on sale, you may like it, especially since they don't really make games based on GI Joe. However, be forewarned that this game has limited options in game modes. It has a campaign mode, which I beat relatively quickly. There is also a team battle, but you can only play it with four different people (can't play against computer). Plus, there are 12 playable characters (6 for GI Joe and 6 for Cobra). Also, the controls are fine, except it can be difficult to aim at times.

So-so; Good for Joe fans, but likely nobody else
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. If you like GI Joe, you may like this. But it's not a great shooter. Targeting is wonky, and the special moves don't seem to do much. But it may be better with a friend for some couch co-op. I grew up on GI Joe in the 80s and got a kick out of this for a few minutes, but I'll probably never actually finish it. Disappointing, but not really surprising given the track history of these kind of licensed games. In summary: It's OK for Joe fans, but I'd pass if the Joes hold no special meaning to you.
