BUY IT, YOU WILL NOT REGRET IT
||Posted . Owned for less than 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.A couple years ago when I was heavy into running I had a Garmin Forerunner 235 and it was a fantastic watch. After a couple years I didn’t run as much and decided to switch to an Apple Watch. As it was a good watch, I lost a lot of things I liked from my Garmin. I am now back into running and biking and decided to give this watch a shot after much thinking. So far, I have not thought twice about my decision. I had a small problem with syncing to connect but after plugging into my computer and giving it a software update it’s perfect. If you are hesitant I’m here to tell you this is a phenomenal watch and worth every penny. It’s light, it’s comfortable, and unlike Apple, you don’t need to plug it in all the time and you can actually sleep track. It’s so great to have a Garmin and a smart watch in one.

Best. Move. Ever.
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I went from the Samsung Galaxy 5 watch to this garmin venu 2 watch. Love how customizable this watch is! I was able to get my starbucks app on here, all sorts of trackers and activity apps! Love the ton of selection of watch faces available for free! Ive tried out the ECG app, does a great job and seems to run smooth. Lets not forget to mention the insanely awesome battery life!!! I can go days without having to charge my watch! Battery life blows away both Apple and Samsung in the watch department! Comfortable to wear, seems to hold up well with bumps into door jams and counters. No cellular capability, but id still choose this watch hands down over the competition anyday!

Highly recommend!
||Posted . Owned for 2 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I love it! I really enjoy the continuous heart rate monitoring and the sleep monitoring. I have also fallen in love with the work out feature. Outside of tracking workouts, it actually has several different workouts on the watch that I can pull up and do along with a breathing app for stress. This is my first time owning a fitness watch, and I totally love it! The battery lasts for several days without charging and charges very quickly. It’s waterproof. I have taken it into the shower, and it was totally fine. The glass is also pretty durable. I am a somewhat clumsy person, and it’s still going strong.

Love It!
||Posted . Owned for 9 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This watch is great! Responsive heart rate monitor, phone notifications and talking! Fits perfect and I have tiny wrists. Battery life cannot be beat by any competitors. I have owned an apple watch to compare. I have already dropped it twice on concert and no scratches or chips. Perfect for me.

I no longer use my Apple Watch!
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I’m a marathon runner and have always used my Apple Watch - I was noticing some lag in times, distance, and gps/maps and I would have to charge it every night. My Apple Watch just couldn’t keep up with me anymore. I have only ever known Apple and was a bit skeptical buying something not Apple. I LOVE THIS WATCH! And it was the best decision I could have made when it comes to my running. It does everything I used my Apple Watch for and is way more accurate! And the battery is amazing. I can go a week+ without having to charge it.

Great activity tracker to keep you going.
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This is a great fitness tracker, tracks all the necessary things. Fitbit has better sleep tracking, but this has much better coaching, gps and activity detection. I do love this watch! Looks good too.

Best Garmin watch so far.
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I've been a loyal Garmin customer for years. When Polar stopped updating their heart rate gear, I switched over to Garmin, because that's what all of the pro cyclists were switching too. So I've been through 2 of their cycling computers and now this is my second watch. I still have one of the original Vivoactive watches that only lasts around a day on a charge so I needed an upgrade. At first I bought the Forerunner 265 because of rave reviews across the internet. After using the 265 for a week however, I found out about the Venu and how it had most of the same features as the 265, but also had better phone integration. The one feature that won me over completely, was the making/receiving calls on the watch just like Apple does. The speaker is clear and everyone who I'm talking to says that it's clear on their end also. So far it has performed really well as an everyday watch, and a sports watch. Hiking distance as well as heart rate seem accurate, and being able to listen to Spotify playlists without having your phone with you is a great feature for those minimalist days. Lap swimming distances are a little off but I'm hoping Garmin will release a firmware update to address that. Overall the only thing I'm disappointed in is the glass. It's Gorilla glass, but I already have a scuff mark on the edge of the screen. They should have used a more recent generation of Gorilla glass for this price range. And the black bezel around the edge show through to silver at the slightest bump of your watch against things like a door frame. If you can find it on sale, which is how I bought mine, it is totally worth buying. But I think overall it's a little expensive for the features and build quality.

Great Battery Life
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Lasts a week on a charge. Got it to help monitor blood glucose with a dexcom. Works great for that. Had difficulty figuring out a lot of the features. It might be a little too complex for me. Did have an allergic reaction to the wristband. Contacted Garmin and they sent a hypoallergenic one-not as nice as the band it came with but great that they were quick to help.

Q: QuestionAre there any serious lap swimmers that would recommend this watch?
Asked by Rick.
- A:Answer Yes I recommend. I was looking for a watch to use during my swimming to track my heart rate and performance. After testing it against the samsung watch 4, amazfit gtr pro and my polar chest heart monitor, the watch that got closer to the polar was the garmin venu 2 plus.

Q: QuestionDoes this have a silent, vibrating notification/ alarm, or is audio the only way to get notifications and alarms?

Q: QuestionThe Garmin website shows the Venu 2 plus with a screen of 43mm. It does not state the the 33mm is available from Garmin as it states on Best Buys sight. Which one is correct? Is the Best Buy description of 33mm for the watch diameter a typographical?
Asked by PamR.
- A:Answer They are both correct. 33mm refers to the dimension of the screen. 43mm refers to the dimensions of the case. The physical dimensions of the watch is 43.6mm x 43.6mm. The display itself is 33mm diameter.
