Customers often highlight the Nexus 9's impressive screen size and excellent speakers as major strengths, with many praising the build quality and smooth operating system. However, comments frequently cite concerns about the battery life and limited storage options on the 16GB model. Some users also mentioned issues with the device's tendency to overheat and experience screen backlight bleed. The price point was also a factor for some customers.

Gorgeous screen and fast, responsive tablet. gets os updates directly from google, so no waiting around for OEMs to get their act together. it handles everything i can throw at it in terms of apps, games etc. It does get a little hot sometimes though., Going from a LG G tab to the Nexus is quite an experience. The nexus handles all the work I can throw at it and does not get buggy or have any lag. The only thing that will be better than this tablet will be the next gen Nexus tablet.

It is quite a different experience than using an iPad, but it is quite fun to use with an incredible battery life, up to 8 hours whilst browsing the web with Spotify on or watching The Office on Netflix, with some casual gaming. In my experience it is quite easy to write with it ( as I am doing right now) and fairly comfortable to hold, it feels quite right for a two-hand use, not too big or that uncomfortable size where you can easily hold it with one hand but you cannot use it that way, ie. iPad mini. The screen size is great for reading, watching movies and playing games although it does lack brightness (not quite a Sony or Retina display) with screen bleeding on it's top right corner, nothing distracting from your overall experience. The sound is probably the best for any tablet; with the BoomSound speakers, also found in HTC's One(M8), you can listen to as much music as you want with crisp detail and loud enough to be heard in a small crowd, just perfect when you have a few people over. Some people have complained of its design reporting creaking on normal use, I've had no such experience, a little disappointing was its absence of a full metal body but it is still quite light and very thin; its matte back cover, a fingerprint magnet, especially if you have greasy fingers but soft to the touch and it provides a good grip. Lollipop 5.0 is the best experience with Android I've had in years, it's intuitive, flashy and vivid. Looks so different from Kit-Kat and much easier to use, IMO. As a month-long owner it is the perfect companion for leisure and light schoolwork (some PowerPoint presentations have been done on this beauty and it was just as serious as any), reading is a delight, especially if you like reading at night and you can invert screen colors with ease (Quick Settings, by default). Highly recommended, the price is well worth it, more fun to use than an iPad and at a lower price. What are you waiting for? Seriously.

I used to own an iPad 2, and when I decided it was time to upgrade my tablet my 3 choices were the nexus 9, Samsung tab s and the iPad air 2. I did a lot of research on all them and everyone said how perfect the iPad was but I was intrigued about the nexus 9. When I checked it out at best buy I loved lollipop and it dual front facing speakers. And if was much cheaper, so I decided to give it a shot. I've owned it for 4 months now and I haven't regretted it. It's the perfect size so you can hold it with one hand, it has a beautiful screen, with not too much color saturation. It's lightning fast, and the speakers are amazing! I saw complaints about the build quality but my model was fine, the software touch back didn't give in and no light bleed on mine. I actually like the soft touch it's comfortable in the hand when holding and not so slippery. And since lollipop has received some updates it's gotten better. The battery life is really good, even when playing heavy games it last at least 6-7 hours. And surfing the web on 4.3 aspect ratio has always been good on the iPad and I'm glad htcc did so with this nexus. Overall a great tablet that gets too much negative feedback.
