||Posted . Owned for 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This watch being it's the first one from Google is rather good. Google gets beat up pretty hard on lots of their devices, however being this is their first it's pretty good. The battery life I'm getting at least 24 hours. When you first set it up of course the battery life is not going to be as good, and that's always the worst time to give a battery review, which a lot of people tend to do. Let things settle for a week or two and get everything set up and then see what the battery life is. Overall the syncing with the Google pixel 7 Pro phone has been very good. This watch has all of the data that you need to get through the day. The notifications are excellent. Even apps that are not installed on the watch can still give you notifications such as storm alerts. One interesting thing about the apps is that there is no native Gmail app on this watch which is rather surprising being it's a Google product. It's more odd because even Outlooks app is on here where you can go into your inbox for your email, where you can't with Gmail. Hopefully a future update will include Gmail. You are able to get your Gmail notifications though, which is good. There are many watch faces to choose from which is very nice. I only think this experience is only going to get better with each update. For a first device like this for Google this is rather good. I've been using it for over a week now which is still on the early side but so far it's been a solid experience. The Fitbit integration is great as well if you are coming from a Fitbit device you'll be very familiar with all of the metrics. No problem syncing with Fitbit. There is one other thing about the SPO2 sensor, at the time of writing this it is not active yet but it is available on the watch. I would imagine this is coming soon. It's another nice metric to have especially if you're used to it coming from a Fitbit product. The other gripe that we hear is the size of this watch being only 41 mm. Not sure why Google did not offer another size as well. I would imagine they're taking a lot of feedback on this and will offer two sizes next time. For me it still is fine with the 41 mm they do a good job with not showing the bezel with certain watch faces. Again overall very good experience so far and looking forward to the updates to come. For first effort they did a rather good job.

This smartwatch has proven itself to be the pinnacle of innovation, seamlessly combining cutting-edge technology with sleek design and user-friendly functionality. One of the standout features of the Google Pixel Watch is its stunning display. The vibrant and crystal-clear screen makes navigating through apps, messages, and notifications an absolute joy. The touch responsiveness is impeccable, and the watch's interface is intuitive, making it effortless to switch between tasks and access information on the go. What truly sets the Google Pixel Watch apart is its extensive range of health and fitness features. From accurate heart rate monitoring to comprehensive sleep tracking, this watch has become my ultimate wellness companion. The real-time insights it provides have motivated me to maintain a healthier lifestyle, and the seamless integration with Google Fit ensures all my data is easily accessible across devices. The battery life of the Pixel Watch has been nothing short of impressive. Even with consistent use throughout the day, including app usage and fitness tracking, I've found the watch to comfortably last well into the night. This reliability eliminates any concerns about constant recharging and allows me to stay connected without interruption. The Google Pixel Watch's connectivity options are also top-notch. With smooth Bluetooth pairing and the ability to respond to messages directly from the watch, staying in touch while on the move has never been easier. The voice recognition is remarkably accurate, making voice commands a breeze, whether I'm setting reminders or asking for directions. In terms of design, the Google Pixel Watch strikes the perfect balance between elegance and durability. The premium materials used ensure it feels comfortable on the wrist while exuding a sense of sophistication. It seamlessly transitions from casual to formal settings, making it a versatile accessory for any occasion. In conclusion, the Google Pixel Watch has exceeded all my expectations and has become an integral part of my daily routine. Its seamless integration with Google services, coupled with its outstanding display, health features, battery life, and design, make it a true game-changer in the world of smartwatches. If you're looking for a smartwatch that combines style, functionality, and innovation, I wholeheartedly recommend the Google Pixel Watch. Comfortable and functional, but battery..
||Posted . Owned for 6 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Great smartwatch. If you want to just charge it once a day: You have to make some modifications to save battery. For it to last longer. Take into consideration I use my pixel waatch mainly to receive notifications from apps such as whatsapp, messenger, text messages, and other in cellphone apps notifications (uber etc..) and I track my workouts for 30 minutes and i track my sleep. Usually it charges fully if you let it charge for 30-45 minutes. It could last longer, but you would have to choose a very minimalistic face (each face affects the battery life differently). The original bands are very comfortable to wear all day. i do not take it into the shower with me since I usually get extra juice for my battery when I am showering. It works perfectly with fitbit and pixel pro 7. I attached a picture of the face i use.

WearOS & Fitbit
||Posted . Owned for less than 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. If you want the best experience of a Vanilla/Pure Android Watch, this is it. And also Fitbit integration included. With Fitbit, the Pixel Watch tracks your continuous heart rate, steps, floors climbed, sleep stages, distance with GPS, and active exercise minutes, as well as having 40 different exercise modes. With so many workout options to pick from, there’s a high chance that your usual exercise routine can be tracked with Pixel Watch. You also get an ECG app, which can help detect signs of atrial fibrillation (A-fib). Hopefully the SpO2 sensor gets turned on via update. Battery life could be better but it is holding up for 24hrs. All sensors on and always on display the battery is at 20% at 24hrs for me. I've owned other Android Wear watches but this one feels the best when navigating around the menus. Poor Battery Life
||Posted . Owned for 1 year when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. It dies SO fast even when I have the settings set to battery saving options like only wake when I touch it and when I have the battery saving mode on. I get maybe a days worth of charge when I fully charge it. It does have a nice display and a sleeker look. It's easy to use which is nice.

Good not great
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I enjoy using my Google Pixel Watch. It's a good pairing with the Pixel series of phone's. It does everything advertised which isn't much and that's ok. Battery life isn't the best but it gets me through a day and a half. It takes a while to sync your data with the Fitbit app. Step tracking could be better but it isn't horrible. I expect a few feature drops from Google to improve the Watch where it is lacking. Hopefully the 2nd generation offers a larger screen size. It's an overall good 1st attempt from Google.

Works well enough but not good enough for the cash
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. It has a older processor and it's somewhat minimal in what you can do on it compared to the apple watch but it's not bad. It's efficient and surprisingly stylish but I can't trust a watch without sapphire glass seeing I personally bump into things waist level being tall. But for the price it really shouldn't be this behind with it's compactors aka the Samsung watches which are cheaper and higher spec.

Android's Official Apple Watch. A Welcome Start.
||Posted . Owned for less than 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Despite of the mixed reviews of the Pixel Watch from YouTubers and independent bloggers and journalist, my wife and I personally enjoy the watch and after a week of use, the battery appears to last much longer than the first few days after initial setup. The thick bezel doesn't bother us as the UI and watch interface does a great job blending it around the background. The thick bezel is as easily ignored as Apple's famous notch or dynamic island screen design. The Fitbit integration is a welcome addition which I personally think it's better than using Google Fit which lacks lots of features compared to other competitors like Samsung, Apple and Garmin. Regarding the 2018 Samsung Exynos chip, it's not a problem at all since the watch has a really well-designed UI and runs very smooth in all accounts. I think YouTube reviewers and the like are reviewing the watch too harshly and comparing it to other smartwatches that's been on the market for several generations. At this point, that's like comparing a new model first gen car to a 10th gen BMW car that's been redefined for several years. Remember, how Apple and Samsung started with theirs? They had several issues with their watch and wasn't perfect as well, especially the battery life. Give it time and the product will become better. Don't let other negative reviewers cloud your judgement. See it for yourself. Overall, I'll personally give this watch a 4 our of 5 stars.

Q: QuestionCan you watch video/YouTube on the pixel watch? Can you send texts/emails or only read incoming? Can you browse the web and social media? Or is it mainly just health traking features?
Asked by Brett.
- A:Answer No, you cannot watch video by default unless you side-load an app that allows you to. To be honest, it's not worth it with the small circular screen. This watch is for looks and function, not entertainment. You can also browse the web by side-loading an app that you to, and that is slightly more functional than videos, but barely. In terms of texting and emails, you can text easily using the messages app the comes on the watch, the same Google messages app that most people use on their Pixel phones. It even has swipe-typed and pretty good autocorrect. It also does voice-to-text. Emails are another story... There is no default app, but I believe there are some on the play store as well as some you could side-load. All in all, this watch is for someone who wants style, health metrics, and to be able to leave their phone but still stay on top of notifications, most importantly texts and calls. You can take calls directly on the watch as easily as text. It's also useful if you use assistant a lot for home devices.

Q: QuestionDo I need to add the watch to my phone plan or is it possible to use the watch and some apps without adding it to the phone plan? I'm looking for a smartwatch that I don't have to pay an additional fee for every month.
Asked by MillennialCheap.
- A:Answer From the Google website: "Google Pixel Watch does not need its own line. Once you have paired with your phone and activated the 4G LTE option with a compatible carrier, Google Pixel Watch will share the same number as your phone."

Q: QuestionDoes this Google Watch have fall and car wreck detection?
Asked by Anonymous.
- A:Answer Thanks Steph, so your answer about fall & car wreck detection. Its a shame that Google didn't want to include these 2 features. It seems like I read they want a monthly subscription for them. I pay monthly for Google Fi Wireless Phone Plan, YouTube TV and have a yearly subscript to Google One/Back up and Store. Not paying for a watch subscription.
