Includes digital download. Grace Under Pressure is RUSH's 10th studio album, originally released in 1984. Guitarist Alex Lifeson called it 'the most satisfying of all our records.' The song's themes were influenced by the growing tensions in the Cold War. The album reached #10 on the Billboard 200 chart and went platinum in the US upon it's initial . On the back cover is a band portrait by the photographer Yousuf Karsh. The original vinyl pressing also featured a photo depicting an egg being held in a C-clamp. Limited 180gm vinyl LP pressing. 2018 . The Ghost Note Symphonies, Vol. 1 is a compilation album by rockers Rise Against. The album features reimagined versions of previously released Rise Against songs, with acoustic orchestration and alternative instrumentation. Rise Against recorded songs for The Ghost Note Symphonies, Vol. 1 at the Blasting Room in Fort Collins, Colorado, with producers Bill Stevenson and Jason Livermore. Rise Against formed in Chicago, Illinois in 1999. The band spent it's first four years signed to the independent record tag Fat Wreck Chords, on which they released two studio albums, The Unraveling (2001) and Revolutions per Minute (2003). Both the albums met with considerable underground success, and in 2003 the band signed with the major tag Geffen. Limited 180gm vinyl LP pressing. The Head on the Door is the sixth studio album by English rock band The Cure, released in August 1985. Preceded by the single InchIn Between DaysInch which had reached #15 on the UK singles chart, The Head on the Door was described by Melody Maker as Incha collection of pop songsInch. With it's variety of styles, it allowed the group to reach a wider audience in both Europe and North America. In the United Kingdom, it quickly became their most successful album to date, climbing to #7 on the albums chart. The album is the first to feature drummer Boris Williams. Bassist Simon Gallup, who had previously worked on three major Cure albums of the early 80's, was called back before the recording. In 1985, the band became a quintet with instrumentalist Porl Thompson as fifth official member.
