Cell phone batteries never seem to last long enough. Trying to find and connect the right cable in the right direction can make phone charging throughout the day a chore. The Insignia NS-MWPC10KS 10 W Qi Certified Wireless Charging Stand for Android/iPhone makes charging fast and easy. Just place your Qi-compatible smartphone on the stand when you need extra power. Its wireless, angled design eliminates cumbersome cords and displays your screen while charging. Rubber pads help keep your phone secure and the base from sliding. A blue LED indicator lets you know when your phone is charging. Perfect for a nightstand, desk or table, you can count on this charging stand to keep your phone charged and ready to go.
Q: Will it work for IPhone 8 ?
A: Iphone 8 and above have WIRELESS QI CHARGING. So yes this stand should work absolutely fine with an iPhone 8. I charge a 12 without issues. Very easy to put in stand vs a pad style. Just use thumb and finger to center on stand horizontally and done. Included high power AC adapter and cable. Many do not.
A: Yes, it is using very low current to charge the phone, when the phone is fully charged.
Q: Does the product come with a cable and if so, how long is the cable?
A: This product comes with a 3.3 ft. cable in the box.
Q: Will this charge a iPhone 12 Pro Max?
A: NO!! They say it will, but it doesn't work have the time. I think the phone is too big for the charger base and it doesn't work most of the time. Once in a while it does, but not to be dependable. I would not buy this for a pro max. On the other hand, it seems to work on the 12 mini.
A: I looked at many tech answers online. Conclusion seems to be YES. Just like leaving it plugged into a cord, same situation. I leave mine on stand most tne time. The QI spec standard is birectional, meaning, the phone tells the stand what it can handle and the stand tells the phone. In theory when the phone is fully charges,it notifies the QI spec charger and the charging stops or goes to very low trickle. Only issues some report, varies by phone and case and charger is the phone or charger getting very warm. With my 12 and this stand I habr not noticed this at all. Phone and stand both remain just barely warm. There are some, and answers seem mixed, who say "do not leave phone plugged in or on wireless chsrger. But this is countered by the opposite recommendation from others, and there isn't consensus. I have left my old 6 plugged In all time and never had an issue. Now I leave my 12 on stand.
A: If there is no phone on the charger, the blinking blue LED indicates that the charger is in stand-by mode (i.e., connected to an AC outlet). Once you put your phone on the charger, the LED turns to a steady blue-violet which indicates that the phone is wirelessly charging.
