Q: How do I connect this microphone to a smartphone?
A: It will depend on what phone you have and then you would need a adapter from USB-A to the input of your device. These microphones aren't made for phones, although they do work with them you will be limited to recording audio. They can not be used to talk on the phone. -JLab Audio

A: Hi Melvin, you can leave the mic plugged in for as long as you desire that will not affect the microphone over time. Have a good weekend!
A: I do a live on Facebook with my phone so i connect my mic directly to my phone with a USB type C to USB type C so the mic get power from that connection setup and you can connect a 3.5mm earphones to monitoring hows your voice is going
