    One of his Best Albums

If you are a Kenny Chesney fan or a country music fan, this CD is a definite must. After waiting for a new release album after he released a "Live" album, I had hoped it would be a great CD full of top songs. Luckily, the wait was worth it as Chesney provides many hits and future hits to be released on the radio. So far, he has released "Never Wanted Nothing More" and "Don't Blink" on the radio. Never Wanted Nothing More reminded me of a continuation to Young from his No Shoes, No Shirts, No Problems CD. Also, on the CD is a few songs that reveal a little bit more of Kenny's personal feelings. Songs such as "Better As A Memory", "Wife and Kids" and "Just Not Today" seem like times he has reflected on related to his life. You will once again love his music.

    Same Catchy Tunes

Kenny Chesney proves that he's still going strong with his latest effort. Songs like "Never Wanted Nothing More" and "Got a Little Crazy" will have listeners singing along after just one listen. The songs are catchy and best of all fun to listen to. The only low points on the album are the songs "Shiftwork" and "Dancing for the Groceries." "Shiftwork" is sang with George Strait but the reggae drum beat and hokey lyrics are what kill this song. "Dancing for the Groceries" has a catchy tune but the lyrics seem corny, with lines about an exotic dancer "dancing for the braces." But if a good time and some catchy songs are what you're looking for, then this disc is for you.

    Lacking in some areas

Kenny’s latest effort isn’t as fun as his previous releases. Seems like with every music personality, Kenny is getting older and his focus seems to be changing. While he does have the four good tracks every CD has, he doesn't really seem to have those hidden gems he's had before. Demons, Dancin, Never and Don't are good songs but there aren’t the When the sun goes down or the tiki bars experiments. I was a little disappointed at the beginning, but know I can understand what’s going on and I enjoy it.

The first two songs are what you all hear on the radio..you think another award winning album? WRONG... Chesney didn't write the songs and it shows... The other 9 tracks are boring and slow and when he tries to speed it up , it just never accelerates... the song "Dancin' for Groceries'' is about a stripper and "Demons" is about demons that haunt him... where in the heck is he going with this? A HORRIBLE CD THAT IS DEFINITELY NOT CHESNEY LIKE...

I bought the CD primarily for the one song that is a duet with George Strait-Shift Work. But I let the CD play on through every song and was amazed that I knew almost every song on there. And the ones I didn't know quickly became ones I now can sing along with. Great storytelling in the lyrics and I love his attitude on life....and I am generally an 80's metal loving gal-so this is saying alot!

I went to Bestbuy to get this album because I thought it would be a good one to get. I have listened to the entire CD and I can point out 6 of 11 songs on the disk that I would call good "Never Wanted Nothing More" "Don't Blink" "Wife And Kids" "Got A Little Crazy" "Dancin` For The Groceries" "Demons". I would recommend this album for people who like country music.

once again Kenny has put together a great album. Some songs that make you really want to dance and some that make you want to stop in your tracks and wonder if he's talking about you. Don't blink is probably the best slow song and Wild Ride is a get up out of your seat and dance in the isle song. I hope you enjoy it as much as I do!!!

Kenny Chesney's new Cd "Just who I am: Poets and Pirates" is one of his best albums yet. You can get this CD at Best Buy for only 9.99. With songs like Don't Blink and Wife and Kids, you can't afford to not have this CD in your collection. It's a great mix of country ballads that you'll be sure to enjoy.
